Ah, I feel like this one took so long to respond to! Sorry, lol, Kinktober has been drowning me. That being said, Swindle needs more love and I'm happy to write this as a foil of sorts to my Megatron/Minibot reader series. Headcanons below the cut, thank you for the request! Enjoy!

Swindle is by far the most charming, functioning bot in the series when it comes to flirting/wooing and no one can convince me otherwise. The second he sees you doing some maintenance work on Megatron, he knows he wants you and decides that he’s going to have you however he can.

You’re technically Megatron’s employee, a cute little medic minibot, but with enough weapon offerings, Swindle can get whatever he wants and bargains to trade you and your services for some of his most expensive weaponry.

You’re just standing there the whole time, but surprisingly, you don’t seem too bothered by what Swindle is doing and instantly move to stand by the broker’s side the second Megatron agrees to the deal.

When the two of you are walking out, Swindle disappointed that he lost so many goods (and planning to steal them back later and frame the Autobots for it) but also excited at the prospect of having a creature as beautiful as you as his personal medic, he asks if you’re actually okay with this and offers to double your salary.

“It’s a lot to process, but Megatron has the personality of a wet paper towel, as loyal as I am to his cause. This is more of a relief than anything.”

Oh. So it’s like that. Turns out, like Swindle, you don’t really like or love Megatron outside of the fact that he gives you money and shares your beliefs. So, the two of you pass time by ragging on Megatron for fun. You end up accompanying Swindle a lot in his travels by choice and since your job was to take care of him if he got injured (something that actually happened surprisingly often). You work well together and are constantly bouncing jokes off of each other, sharing energon, committing heists and deals and all sorts of other illegal fun by each other’s side.

It’s a really quick, easy friendship. Swindle’s obviously simping this whole time but wants to get to know you in full before making any moves. He loves spending time with you, late nights with sparks racing at the excitement from your dangerous lives. It’s a lot better with you by his side, less lonely, and easier to just... Exist. When he went on a venture to somewhere cold, you didn’t mind cuddling with him. When he got banged up, he wasn’t forced to lay alone and makeshift-fix himself until he found the next Cybertronian to repair him. When he wanted someone to talk to, you were there- and he did those same things for you, too. It seems like, even in a platonic sense, you’re both everything the other needed before the two of you met.

You’re a thrill seeker like he is, not afraid to get in trouble. He finds it admirable that you’re so tough regardless of your tiny, petite stature, and you’re a lot of fun.

One night, you two are smoking some organic herb that he paid an obscene amount of money for (usually he was good about saving his money, but anything for you), laying on a soft, grassy field on the alien planet that you two traveled to for your most recent deal when you ask, “Why’d you insist on picking me up that day? I thought you were in need of a medic at first, but you hardly get injured, and the damage I’ve fixed on you so far has been minor scuffs and dents that you can self-repair.”

“I didn’t need a medic,” He turns and looks at you, burning the blunt out on the back of a metal box he’d brought full of your most recent products with a smirk on his face. “I wanted a companion, sugar. You had me enthralled the nanoklik I saw you. Are you in, or are you out?”

You two are very natural but also very intense, communicating effortlessly, and the second he says those words, you’re rolling over to lay on top of him and slam your lips against his. It’s a hard, long kiss, and when you pull away and say “I’m in,”, Sentinel is lifting you up effortlessly and standing on the grass, twirling you around in his arms.

“It seems like we have a deal, then.”
