"Art Garfunkel Was The Magic."
"Art Garfunkel was the magic."
"Their relationship was pure magic, and it reflects in their discography—and in their solo discographies, when all their magic was gone."
Louder for the people in the back.
I can't even begin to describe how much I agree on this. I find Artie's solo works more soothing for, therefore listen to his songs more often than Paul's, the point remains: as beautiful as their solo efforts can be, they lack that special magic they managed to create together.
my guitar teacher was complaining about art garfunkel not contributing anything. he doesnt even know he was the muse

Watch the 40th anniversary of BOTW documentary in which Paul has the nerve to say that if there's a theme of people leaving and such in that album it was unintentional.
Like... girl, you for real?

ending the album with these four songs well i know what you are
I lost count of how many times I've read Artie's musings, yet every time is pure joy.

Still Water Prose Poetry - Art Garfunkel
Reblogging as well for the new precious hints by @more-or-less-the-same , I totally agree with you my friend. đź–¤

UNHINGED—and the fact that this was just four months after he called Paul a monster and a jerk with a Napoleon complex?? You could’ve just said sorry, Art.

weeping over this inscription i found in my secondhand copy of Maurice:
"Harry, I'm glad I met you in 1973. Nathaniel"
