Guys, guys listen. This is so important as an artist or any creative. Make time for stupid shit.  Like I mean just draw DUMB things, write nonsense blurbs, sculpt that funny little man.  Its warm up right? But you CANT warm up if you worry about little things like quality and meaning.  You are getting in your own way.  Just do DUMB things in your craft all the time for the hell of it. For the joy of it. Please im begging you.

can we, as a society, start to realize that having a phone does NOT mean you HAVE TO BE accsessible to anyone and everyone at ALL times??

My mom threw a fit at me for not answering my phone while i was at my friends place. Kinda hypocritical too, given how much she complains that “youth these days spend to much time on their phones”

My boss was very CLEARLY not satisfied that i only got back to his text hours after he sent it. My friend didnt speak to me for weeks once bc she thought we were having a FIGHT??? bc i didnt reply to her message on facebook? till the day after she sent it??

i HAVE a phone, that doesnt mean i HAVE TO BE availiable whenever ANYONE decides they want me to be???

What’s your favorite bonrin dynamic? There’s so many wonderful ones, and various different ones you’ve shared with us, but what would you say is *the one*

Oh man, there are so many things I love about their dynamic, but my favorite just might be this:

Both of these boys are tremendously passionate and protective of things they care about and love. And they both grew up with a lot of ostracisation/bullying. Ryuuji because of the "curse" on his temple, and Rin because of his temper and unnatural strength.

So you have two passionate and protective people who are used to be treated poorly and are aggressive and defensive because of it. They make assumptions about other people, and expect them to not intervene/help, because no one else does.

But then they meet each other and at first, to each other, they seem to fit the same molds everyone else does.

Until the other does something crazy, and suddenly they fall, and hard.

He's shocked that this boy he'd dismissed jumped in to save him while others were laughing, and that this boy was strong enough to fight, and that he was proud to have the same goal. No one had done that.

Shock that the boy he'd punched and who had considered him a demon like everyone else had not only come to help, but he trusted him. People never trust Rin, but this boy does it while they're choking to death on miasma and Rin can't draw his sword.

I LOVE how these broken, guarded people find similar souls in each other and that they find strength to keep going in each other when they need it, that they rile each other up and they surprise each other just by being themselves. They fit in such fantastic ways, and they're wonderfully healing for each other.
