Like, the human is seen as this mystical, strange creature (who really was just doing some research on the planet and got roped into the political drama) and now they stand stoically behind their bizarre, cosmically horrifying monarch, surveying the parade of potential suitors, land grabbers, and visiting monarchs.
Imagine it! Just a human made up in the regalia of the alien court, whispering in the ear of an eldritch king, eyeing you from across the hall.
Do they have any romantic chemistry? no. Will i ship them anyway because theyre my favorite characters? yes.
