I am king and queen, best of both things!

I mostly go by Aidy.I think King said it best once. "I am both king and queen, best of both things!" But they/them works fine.I'm currently obsessed with The Owl House

I wish people wouldn’t just assume pronouns. When I had green hair people assumed my pronouns were he/him upon meeting me. Now I have purple hair and people assume my pronouns are she/her if they don’t already know me. Why are people like this just because of my hair being purple?! I try to use ask people’s pronouns instead of just assuming. I feel like it should be more common that people ask for what pronouns to use! It’s also annoying when some humans misgender people on purpose.

just rewatched toh and like… lumity is perfect

the show broke so many barriers in the realm of queer representation. it’s not just an openly queer relationship in a cartoon, but an openly queer relationship for the main character of the show, who is openly bi and gender-nonconforming

not only that, the relationship develops much further throughout the show (even with a much shorter runtime because disney executives are bitches) because rather then leave it to speculation and non-canon ships until the final episode (treating amity as a “prize” for luz like most traditional heteronormative relationships), they let it fully develop midway through season 2, allowing us to see parts of fictional relationships that usually aren’t shown beyond the first kiss and labeling the relationship, where lumity’s dynamic and chemistry really gets to be displayed as the two characters work together during the (slightly confusing) finale WITHOUT jeopardizing the natural development before they ask each other out and not letting the entire relationship feel rushed :)

Been looking back at different Owl House scenes and I think my favorite genre of Amity is whenever the crew makes her look like a disgruntled cat
