Because I couldn't take those woolly freaks out of my freaking head.

In case you're asking... yeah, this is a part of Lily's story (why not!) and I've planned to place it pre-movie.

Oh dear, for some reason I've been thinking about... pollination (that's why I drew Lou as a bee) and lately I got pretty obsessed with flowers (especially lilies, hence her name)

BTW the other doll in the bottom right side is Lance (another OC of mine), who is Lou's favorite backup dancer... and the one who ends up hanging out with Lily (for a certain 'perfect' doll's pain).

And... that's it...

Okay, okay, it's just that I really wanted to draw them together.

At first I was going to draw him with the Kooky hairstyle (you know, the one he got after a certain mothersewing doll led him to the washing machine, I know it was that dang Astro Boy-like robotdog, but idc), BUT meh! For some reason, I chose to draw him with his wavy hair (nngh)..., I'd like to try other one though.

If you got the references, then congratulations!

Now "why Barbie?" you're asking, well because I can! Okay, it's a long story, but I'll just summarize it with... I use to think of them as a family and... I'm not sure if I'm the only one who thinks so, but if Lou was a girl, she would look like her.

This doll had friends, suitors and enemies in Perfection. She only wanted to live with 'peaceful' Mother Nature instead of the Big World.

A certain perfect doll's first flower... Too bad they weren't that perfect when together... and didn't last forever.

But don't feel bad for her, because she's happy with Lance now.

Ese Lou sin duda se va con todos y todas por igual jajajaja. Por poco y ya se parece a cierto... amiguito de verde, supongo que ya saben a quién me refiero.

Currently arguing with myself about Lou wearing that elegantly silly top hat… and I chose not to draw him with that thing on his head. Honestly Lucifer's costume reminds me of the one from a certain infamous 2012 twink around here.

I must confess I have a love/hate relationship with straight hair, but this time I decided to give it a try!
