Im not an English major so there's that so don't expect proper grammar. Im not an apologist for Dream, Quackity or Sam. I might be considered a sympathizer, I'm just looking at this in a nuetral perspective. I will say though i do hate cdream but I'm gonna try not to get emotional or let the emotions blind me. I think dream should stay in prison but i think he does need therapy and social interaction because any person does. I also think he deserves punishment but not in a violent way. I think to understand what he did wrong. I'm not gonna comment about villain thing but i disagree. I think a person knowing they did bad things and accepting knowing they were a monster is a little weird to like say at least they knew and not say they are a villain. Quackity is not a villain he's doing what he thinks is right like how dream did all his actions because he thinks its right and other people influenced him. I would say he did horrible things like manipulating dream no one derserves especially since dream can use that and that might effect him mentally more but that does not make him a villain. What pissed me off was the Sam chooses his roles, no this character is in grief and is traumatized. Of course he doesn't want to take care of dream. Dream killed a minor that he promised to protect. I do think that he should of done his job better but hes only one person. So him being in grief is gonna affect him of course cause hes a person. There should be more guards for this type of situation but people on the server are not okay lol. Nobody should be prioritized over another person for therapy, everybody deserves therapy. I could explain who needs it but its late so... Puffy saw dream as a son and dream did do horrible things. So she is also conflicted so she's like in between plus she is not the right choice to be a therapist because of that reason. She was affected by what dream did. Again quackity actions shouldn't compared to dreams because they both had different reason and motivations (No i don't think what he did was right in a nuetral perspective emotionally im cheering). Dream has god complex and hes not changing so hes not a good person but i think that gives more of a reason to give therapy. People are people they have emotions and they are influenced by their emotions so that affects their actions. So im gonna end this with everybody is not okay they are all in grey some darker then others, people in the server don't communicate properly doesn't make them a bad person i think everyone should open up and talk. That won't happen though. I feel like you're only sympathizing with dream and not bothering with trying to understand the other characters too :] but that it.

Get green man out of prison

To clarify before this starts, Dream is my favourite character. This doesn’t mean I am a c!Dream apologist, but I am sympathetic to his motivations. Objectively, he’s done horrible things, and he needs to be in prison with a life sentence, but looking at all the things that’s come out of this prison arc–

c!Dream needs to leave prison NOW. All this shit that’s been happening hasn’t been excusable since we found out Sam was abusing him in prison and it’s just getting worse.

Before y’all come at me with “but Dream designed the prison to be that way so he deserves it”. Consider this: if we are justifying the “hero’s” actions because that’s something the villain would have done, then maybe we need to think long and hard about how much of a “hero” this character truly is.

As much as we want to see Dream get his comeuppance, nothing he did justifies TORTURE. Treating him as sub-human is beyond wrong and doesn’t help ANYBODY. When he gets out, he’ll only be worse, and all of you are just gonna use his actions after this arc as justification to continue viewing him as the Devil incarnate.

An eye for an eye and the world goes blind, right?

Overall, I need this season to come to a point where the other characters (especially Quackity) finally acknowledge that Dream wasn’t the root of ALL problems on the server. They need to see that they themselves also have “villainous” sides to them, and that they’ve also caused conflict. I need their righteous fucking high horses to be shot down. They need to reflect and grow from this in a positive direction.

I have many thoughts about different characters so I’ll put a break here. Continue if you want to, I just need somewhere to vent
