yknow I play a lot of hard games but usually not "took 73 days to beat" hard

aka gUESS WHO JUST BEAT RAIN WORLD. AFTER TWO AND A HALF MONTHS rain world peridots-nonsense i got into subterranean like a week ago but have been mostly hanging around by the worm grass shelter for 20 cycles i went to every region (even if i only spent a couple minutes total in drainage lol). met every echo besides the farm arrays one. got every passage achievement (every one besides dragon slayer/wanderer in outskirts and industrial within my first few weeks of playing) and never used a passage anyway. three months!!! rounding up a little! for a game that can be beat in less than 20 cycles. dh was twelve days (though i'd played through part of it years earlier). stray was seven hours. insc was only a couple days. i've done two separate ultkill playthroughs so not sure which to count but both were less than a week hk was actually just over a month. may 24 to june 26th. which is still so much less than this. bftes about a month too i remember how even just a week into rw i felt like i'd been playing it forever...even just a week in i knew it would be one of Those Games where i wish i could play it over for the first time again. boy was i right. it almost felt like a second life at times i loved just running around in certain areas building up stores of food and spears and vulture masks (what comes to mind are / HI_S02 / CC_S05 / SI_S04 / SB_S07. the first two felt like home!) (* up in the sixth tag i missed the friend. i was relishing in hubristic bloodlust especially in CC so i didn't have much time for taming) if the tags here seem particularly incoherent i only falsely apologize. i'm just. reminiscing. i don't think i can do anything else my heart was pounding as soon as i reached the depths. after 325 cycles. 116 hours. two and a half months. it's over. maybe a little dramatic but hey it took up an invariable portion of my life for a fifth of a year so. it's just interesting anyway. a standard ''i took too long on this and now the sun's rising'' goodbye to you tag-wanderer

playing stray again for the first time in eight months and upon reaching midtown I naturally went to trip the peacemaker as many times as I could before I got bored of it but uh?? it isn't getting back up???

this brings my ''games in which i've killed cops'' total to two. i consider this a personal achievement peacemaker stray cat stray stray game peridots-nonsense this game didn't occupy my mind for as long as they usually do and i was afraid i wouldn't like it again. this did not happen vibeo game that made me like robots my beloved...anyway i think doing cutscenes will reset this but for now this guy is Deceased i find it far too amusing that you can do this in the first place much less the Permanent Trip hence why i'm posting it here. 👍

alrighty meant to reblog this over 24 hours ago but YIPPIE peridots-reblogs others ocs diner mieczmaszyna hmm think that's all the categorization tags if i'm not counting sea urchins as a bug. so anyway I LOVE THE COLORS HERE just something about the bright oranges/yellows dulling down the grays but still leaving them visibly aquamarine-ish. !!!!!!!!!! the blockiness is really nice too and i like the sun-motifed frills in the dress!! oddly specific but i love a paws + fish tail combo for some reason. also i'm slipping in my quest to make half my posts reblogs from you and lastly i'm much more of a winter-lover myself (rip to me for living in a place that snows like 4inches total over the course of a year) but if i'm prepared for it the warm weather's really nice! plus there's bugs :]

peridots-reblogs bugs ohhh i am going to bite someone for all my favorites being the least-liked...no respect for bugs on the bug poll website???? wasps were my immediate choice obviously. discord name was wasp apologist supreme for a while. they've always fascinated me even before i liked bugs and i absolutely adore them.... nevermind the fact that most species are parasitic and want nothing to do with humans i love wasps ok??? but on the logical side they prey on agricultural pests and pollinate a few species that don't have any other pollinator they're a Very Important part of our world and i'll defend them forever (even if i'm instinctively still terrified of the social ones lol) anyway i'll admit spiders earned their place at the top they literally do not hurt humans like Ever and (like the wasps of course) are actively beneficial to us!!!! roaches i find very cute but i'm biased and anyway there are around 3500 known species of them and only 1% of those live in human homes. mosquitos i'm not the biggest fan of but i'll still argue vehemently that they're an important part of their ecosystems. without question the worst thing about loving bugs is the fact that every single time i try to look up stuff about em all the top results are exterminator websites. or every time there's an insect or myriapod displayed amongst other interesting animals all the comments show disgust and malevolence rather than anything remotely close to reverence. idk it's just. really hard having something that brings me such great joy also being something that everyone actively wants dead. calls for the total extermination for. thinks should die out. squished under their shoe or a frying pan without a second thought it truly SUCKS and i get a little emotional but hey i've managed to make my family change their minds on bugs so that's a start for sure. don't let an aspiring entomologist around one of these polls is the moral of the story
