Heya, I'm Peridots (any pronouns, they/it works fine)! Your average digital artist/entomology enthusiast! This is partly an art blog, but be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and all other positive interactions are appreciated here! Terfs, zionists and the like aren't allowed within about a hundred feet of my blog, however! I play the body electric.

Several years ago, I first ran into @peridots-pixiwolf on tumblr, back when Hollow Knight had all but consumed my life.

Last year, despite the fact we don't really talk much, Peri remembered and made me a sweet gift art to commemorate the event.

I may be an eldritch horror, but my heart's as hard as applesauce- happy pal-iversary, friend. I hope it keeps up a while longer!

NOX HI YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME just about two years now....sure feels like it's been longer!! and it's wonderful to know my art from last year's meant something to you all this time -- i love remembering dates like that! and i can't say i'm anything but glad to share a paliversary with you :] speaking OF art this is so cool... you're incredibly correct to guess that p3ri would in fact play pong on its own face (almost looks like they're using tilt control?) plus i like the little current between the antennae! and the neon green and the dotting on the scarfdanna! had to message my friend about this. prev i don't think i've ever seen anything avatar-related reblogged by you besides this an hour+ ago and i am very currently late into rewatching it with my sister again. as in we're on season 3 episode 9. as in the sozin + roku episode was s3ep6. as in this was reblogged sometime while we were in the middle of watching it. um roku atla sozin atla avatar the last airbender peridots-reblogs otherwise would've passed this by but it's another coincidence too cool to ignore....well i mean besides the imperialism but y'know oh exited drafts for a bit and it turns out said friend reblogged it also. hehehehe

“average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

UPDATE!

Hussam distributed the toys to the kids! He said everyone was so excited for them, that even the older kids got jealous and he bought another hundred toys and extended the ages to receive toys to 3-13.

For those of you who have been following this, my tumblr 'helpgazachildren' was deleted for unknown reasons. In the meantime, I put together this notion site to help document all the receipts and videos of updates for people who want a backlog of information. I will be continuously updating this site.
