Crassie was originally a D&D character from around seven months ago who was significantly based off of Hollow Knight (specifically the Hunter), and used to exist in this strange AU I'd made where most creatures were bugs but humans also were a thing, before I decided to make her an actual world. I have an old sketchpage of her not shown here

Really happy rn about the Leif art and uh. let me just say that all of the nice things people said in the tags mean so much to me!! This is like the most I've got on any one post and even if it's just like "cool" I will be thinking about that for 9 years!!

(Also worth noting that even if I'm not great at actually communicating with people, I like talking about my hyperfixations and I'm always willing to draw something as a request or whatever (might take a bit though!))

It started off as a joke, I doodled it so I wouldn't forget, then I wanted to elaborate on their designs a bit so I spent like six hours doing that, and finally I decided some parts looked too blank so I spent another >6 hours with that: My characters Carmine and Kalanchoe as Runaway to the Stars aliens (species of @jayrockin !!)

apologies for the second use of augh in the past week but. augh. tagging people... especially people you haven't ever talked to.... funny how the only two times I've posted anything of them were species-changing au nonsense tonpterus runaway to the stars technically just (may 2022) realized i might've said tiiliitian instead of skimmer why did i say tiiliitian nvm (july 2022) they both work tiiliitian's a nationality skimmer's a species *subspecies. HOW do i keep messing this up wait (sep 2022) nope it's a species in a genus WHAT is happening peridots-ocs coming back 2023 to add ts to their tags. im gonna do the math and hope i didn't screw up the distinction AGAIN carmine ts kalanchoe ts

you can't really see much of the backgrounds but. completely unlike drawing full backgrounds where i get intimidated by the sheer size drawing lil simple zoomed in backgrounds was really fun hollow knight molini hk hawksbeard hk caramel hk peridots-art this took less than 12 hours? drawing on small canvases is faster probably. helps that they're all less than halfbodies hk ocs bugs peridots-ocs
