Marked (Preview)
Hope this little preview gets you just as excited as I am! I’ve officially started on my first graphic novel which, for the time being, is called Marked. I’ll be posting pages of the novel weekly on Fridays, so be looking forward to that.
I’ll give you more of a summary next week with the title page and page one. But I feel like it’s important to say this now: this book addresses mental illness, specifically anxiety and depression. It’s just as much for those who are clinically diagnosed as it is for family members, friends, or anyone who wants to better understand. Hopefully it can help you or a loved one to gain insight on these situations. Please share this with family and friends, and get the word around. I hope to be able to influence as many people as possible! :)

Sorry it took a little while to get this page out. I’ve had it done but haven’t posted it, haha. Ironically, I’m still struggling with my own depression and anxiety while trying to complete this project. But worry not-- this is too important for me to give up.

PunkBots
Playing around with character design and color swatches. Said swatches come from a book called “Color Inspirations” by Darius A Monsef, and each color set has a name. The one for PunkBoy is called “Good Boys” and the one for PunkGirl is “Gaelic Swans”. I had fun putting the design together, and I’m interested in seeing what ideas others have about the possibly personalities or stories for these characters. So have at it. I’d love to see what people come up with, so please be sure to tag me!

Character creation is much fun! This style of clothing was inspired by Ghost of Tsushima, which I would highly recommend to any gamer. I found this pose on pinterest and wanted to try it out for myself... I think it turned out pretty cool! Wish I could read the name better to give this person credit, as I couldn’t find the source... But if you happen to know, then please send the name my way!

I drew my avatar from one of my favorite sites, Aywas. It’s got a lot of animals and a lot of opportunities to create new ones and such... I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. Appropriate for these snowy days.

It's been forever and I still haven't found a good name for the antagonist of my novel. He has permanently been dubbed "Dadtagonist" in my mind.
I'll change it when I get there.

Added a comparison with fox ears and without, but I still prefer to draw them with ears :DD And although my MC actually has red hair, it somehow turned out brown mh..
Redemption of the regicide
The woman was dressed in a rather showing lavender dress. Her eyes were rimmed in black, probably smeared with charcoal, but now smudged by the consistently bad weather that plagues Bree, giving her a slightly sinister look. Her stance was confident, as was her smile. Yet it was not genuine. It was false and well-practiced up to the point where you wouldn’t know it was fake unless you’ve mastered it yourself. Her body language was inviting, open and non-threatening. A lot about her was just for show, which told Raigon to be careful with what information he presents to her.
She knew the game well.
