I once did a series dedicated to three iconic fairytales, it was about webs, ashes and shades of weather and time. It was about a magic carpet dreamed on a walk towards a volcano. About gold and gems, flowers caught in stained glass. In this initiatic journey, she was a shape shifter, she had many names, Arachnée, Cendrillon, Peau d’Âne. She was also another, une altra Aënor, a queen above clouds.

It took me more than two years to complete this piece. Initially, the face was just a dark shadow, bare. Now, the warrior with a blossoming sword wears a helmet of many masked eyes.
