For the law and order svu crossover you have season 15 episode 15 names comic perversion, that is season 15 episode 14. Episode 15 is it titled gridiron soldier. I was curious which is the actual Chicago crossover episode?
Hi SVUxPD Anon and thanks for the question!
This is like the third time I try answering you because Tumblr mobile is being a little bitch and my response gets lost in limbo (it also consumed your first ask so I’m glad you sent another one)
Anyway! I re-checked from multiple sources, and SVU S15E15 really seems to be titled Comic Perversion? And S15E16 is Gridiron Solider? No matter which episode number though, Comic Perversion really is the first part of the PD crossover! :)
Thanks for the question! :)
EDIT: Turns out you were right Anon, sorry! Thanks to @truedarkangeleyez , we figured what got me confused:
[…] For the Comic Perversion episode, it’s the second time someone points this out to me… I did more research this time and I think I finally understand what’s going on! Since you watched the episodes please tell me if I’m wrong: I think the S15 premiere is two episodes in one, Surrender Benson and Imprisoned Lives. So depending how you see it (even on the official NBC page), S15E01 is either both episodes, or just Surrender Benson, the former creating the episode offset that makes Comic Perversion E14 instead of E15.
@PetitCartonVert
It is part 1 and part 2 of what you’re referring to but if you look at it to try to find it episode 15 is labeled something completely different and not comic perversions episode 14 however is labeled comic perversions. I’m actually following your timeline to the T right now and I had to actually go back to episode 14 of SVU and when I went back I was like wait that’s not episode 15 when they came in it was episode 14
@truedarkangeleyez
I adjusted my list, thank you both!
Just letting you know you have the date for Chicago pd season 7 episode 13 wrong the episode doesn’t air until February 5th 2020
Yes I just saw that, thanks for letting me know Anon!! :):) My list is all up-to-date now! See you around!
hi, you have a really great site, i love the One Chicago List. Is it possible to do the same for Law & Order franchise, and also for CSI franchise, i mean its like impossible to find these lists anywhere online. Thanks so much
Hi and thanks for all the love! I'm so happy you find my list useful! I try to update it as I watch the shows, but lately I've fallen behind a little bit...! (it's gonna be great to binge-watch!!)
To be honest, I'm not too sure I want to mess with Law & Order and CSI haha. I'm not watching any of these shows, and don't really plan to, because they have tons of episodes and spin-offs. So my list could be inaccurate. It's also way easier to update a list than make one from scratch; I've been making this One Chicago list ever since PD started.
I just checked because I was curious, but the Law & Order universe has 1127 episodes! And CSI has 797!! That's like two, three times the size of my list holy shit!! Do you want me to fucking die??? 😂😂
Anyway, for now I wouldn't do it because I don't have the time, but the challenge could be nice. Are there a lot of mentions or crossovers between the shows? Would a list be really helpful? And, if I were to do one, which of the two would you want more?
in what order do you watch the three episodes
Hey Anon!
Not sure which three episodes you mean, but if you meant « shows » as in Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med, you should just check out my list! Less confusing!
For the past two years the pattern has pretty much been Med, then Fire, then PD, but they switch it around sometimes, like for crossovers, season finales and around the holidays.
Personally, for the current season, I've been binge-watching Med and PD without really following my list and found no difference (except for the Infection crossover), so if you're up to date... just watch in the order you want, and just watch out for the crossovers (there's a two-part coming Feb. 26!)
If that's not what you meant, please let me know! Thanks! :)
Hi there! I'm absolutely in love with your One Chicago timeline (I've honestly only properly seen Med, which is a travesty) but I was curious as to whether you recall which episodes show/mention specific dates in time? I mean we obviously know which years events are happening in (roughly) but I've just started rewatching Med and I can't figure out *when* events are actually happening.
Hey there, you're so nice! Thanks for the question!
Usually for all four shows, the day at the beginning of each episode is the actual date the episode airs (they probably know by now shit hits the fan on Wednesdays, especially in December and May lol)
Of course there are a few exceptions, most of the time during season mid-finales and finales, for cliffhangers. Personally, I always saw it that way: the episode resolving the cliffhanger takes place the same day, and the next episode goes back to air date (e.g. Med mid-S05 with Nat/Will/Ray, PD mid-S07 with Jay/Angela, Fire with Casey and baby vs beam idk which season, list goes on and on and on...) I figured this would make sense, since people who got hurt are often magically back to work the next episode... Looking at you PD... multiple times...
For the rest, I know Derek Haas, one of the shows' writer/producer, clears up the timeline for new episodes. I've been following him on Twitter for a couple of years, he's great! Retroactively however, I have a problem with that myself...! I thought about keeping the dates on my list, but I'm not sure if I have the time to go back and check 400 episodes! Group effort, maybe?
But anyway. Usually Med pretty much sticks to the air dates. PD's more of a mess I think.
Hope this helps!
