sansa stark misremembering kissing the hound is not because she has some internalized romantic feelings for him!! it was a trauma response!!!!!

sandor clegane is a grown man more than twice her size, who in a drunken episode decided to victimize a 12-year-old sansa by pushing her onto a bed, getting on top of her, and threatening her life with a knife to her throat.

she unconsciously blocked out the true events of that night and this false memory of them kissing is just her mind's way of trying to fill in the gaps.

simply put, sharing a kiss is much easier for a child’s brain, or anyone’s brain, to process than getting assaulted.

Headcanon where Esme offers to tag along w Rosalie to her revenge appointment as moral support. She brings cleaning supplies just in case things accidentally turn messy. 🩸

i mean this with no disrespect to emma d’arcy, they’re a fantastic actor and do an incredible job with what they’re given, but i find it so disheartening that we didn’t get fat rhaenyra. or fat viserys, or fat aegon, or fat helaena. for all the ways in which hotd has undermined grrm’s work, i think taking an author who treats his fat characters with a dignity that should be the bottom line yet is so, so uncommon in most media and making all those characters thin for optics is gross. anyway long live fat rhaenyra.

i don’t understand people who don’t like sansa. like, okay, you don’t have to like her. but if you’re going to base it on the last seasons, please, they ruined pretty much every character. and if you say you read the book, and still don’t like it, so you don’t know how to understand & interpret. sorry.
