The original 'virgin vs chad' meme

I feel like everyone is sick of those stupid soyjack vs Chad "my opinion is good and based and correct, your opinion bad and wrong and stinky" memes by this point, as they're some of the lowest forms of current internet 'humor.' Butm precisely because those memes are so bad and also everywhere, I feel it's worth giving some credit to the fact that the original "The Virgin Walk / The Chad Stride" was actually a brilliant meme.

"The Virgin Walk" image showed up first, and it was standard 4chan stuff - which is to say, highly negative. Just a whole bunch of random small traits that people can have, bundled together in an accusatory way to try and make people insecure about them having "virgin" posture, by the kind of people who genuinely worries about being an "alpha male" (Or possibly pointing out their own flaws as a form of self-hatred, flip a coin when it comes to 4chan)

And then, on another thread, someone made the Chad Stride edit to go along with it.

It's a great piece of satire by how simple it is. Just by taking the traits listed in the original image, then inverting and exaggerating them, the result is an absurd caricature of a man who does not (and should not) exist. Through exaggeration, it demonstrates how the people who constantly worry about seeming 'Chad-like' are chasing after behaviour that is utterly unhinged and disconnected from reality.

Virgin is a normal, if insecure dude. Chad is an absolute fucking maniac. (Not to mention all the references to violence in the image)

So, while it did degrade into those awful soyjak memes we all know and hate because that is the nature of the internet, I feel like it's worth remembering that in the original image that spawned this entire trend, you're supposed to laugh at Chad. You shouldn't want to be Chad, because he's the menace to society

Horn Headcanons:

My c!Tubbo is a ram and his horns grow in an arc: first up and back, then around and out. They're functional for fighting by the time he's around 16, and you would be hard pressed to deal any sort of head trauma to this guy. The horns grow continually without shedding, though growth slows down significantly once Tubbo reaches maturity. The tissue inside the keratin sheath is live and will bleed if insulted.

c!Ranboo has enderman horns, which are designed to deal piercing damage and aren't particularly functional in combat. In enderman society horn size denotes prestige in both age and magic power, and some elder endermen can have truly massive horns. Ranboo, being only half enderman and not having the same range of powers, will never see this level of growth. Just like Tubbo, the tissue inside his horns is live.

Misc Headcanons:

Tubbo's ears were floppy until he was around 14

Ranboo can unhinge his jaw, but usually only does so when he feels severely threatened

Tubbo is naturally very fluffy. Lots of fur. A pain to clean but delightful for spouse snuggles

Both Tubbo and Ranboo need regular hoof trims, and they do it for each other because it's easier + bonding time

Tubbo is extremely sure-footed and can walk unimpeded on almost any terrain

Ranboo looks a little like a chihuahua with teary eyes due to the water burns and it gives him a terribly pathetic vibe

The firework explosion took out Tubbo's right eye and disfigured the right side of his face. The scars cause pulling unless they are regularly medicated, and are sensitive to sunlight (this is part of the reason he wears his bangs so long). The less severe wounds fade over time.

Ranboo's development is as follows: Sickly Victorian Child -> Normal Young Man With No Issues At All No Sir -> Milf. I will not rescind my statement

Tubbo has an incredible sense of smell

Ranboo is prone to illness from stress, and this sometimes manifests as hoof infections in the corium and digital cushion

I think we all moved on from c!tubbo and c!ranboo's marriage too soon. That marriage had everything someone could want. Tender support through hard times. Disability 4 disability love. Propensity for crime. Weird little child. Batshit crazy third wheel (tommy). Willingness to both die and kill for each other. Undying devotion. Fucked up vibe. Toddler parents. Height difference. Ranboo's "alien's first day on earth trying to be human" energy. Tubbo's energy that I can only describe as "smiley face but squashed and evil." Ranboo constantly making tubbo new equipment and tools. Nukes. Idk what else. And then being exactly the same on the origins smp just more evil.
