Time Goes By In The Blink Of An Eye!

Today is my birthday, but that isn't what this post is about. It's about another special birthday, that of my beloved cat Jaden Yuki. On September 18th of last year, I had to sadly make the hard choice of assisting him in crossing the rainbow bridge. The night before being one of the most difficult and emotional ones in my life. Jaden kept experiencing seizures as he went into kidney and liver failure. I carefully held him all night getting maybe 30 minutes of sleep. The next day taking Jaden to the vet knowing all to well, that I wasn't going to come home with him.

On September 1st 2006, hurricane Ernesto affected Virginia. I will never forget the call from an exceptional woman named Carol, she was like a second mother to me. She too has passed sadly and is very much missed. Carol quickly informed me almost hysterically how "Ms. Legs," a stray cat we befriended had her kittens in the middle of a fierce hurricane! As it so happened, the local humane society had employed me at the time. After talking with my boss, Tonya she voluntarily agreed to foster Ms. Legs and her 5 adorable little kitties. I informed Tonya that I genuinely wanted the little black kitten.

The day approached when the kittens were ready to be adopted. Instead of bringing just the little black one, she came carrying all 5. Upon opening the carrier, four kitties came bouncing out, playing as adorable kittens typically do. Jaden, however didn't emerge. Tonya informed me that he was getting over being sick. She scooped Jaden up, then sat him in my lap. Jaden fell asleep all while purring loudly. He naturally chose me…

I enjoyed 17 wonderful years with Jaden and dearly miss him. I keep breaking down in tears while trying to type this up. He will be forever missed by both his adopted "brother" Jiraiya and myself.

I just wanted to do something to honor him by; a dear friend of mine suggested doing a memorial post here.

Jaden never did catch that Raven, but he sure did try. *lol*

Buggy the Star Clown

Another piece from the DA Subscriber reward series is Buggy the Star Clown for the wonderful PheonixxFoxx ! Something completely different from me, but I had fun working on him regardless. Even A Small Update Can Be Flashy!

Well, other fun items made it to me before the new Four Emperors booster boxes. Not really sure when those will ship out? *shrugs*

This little adorable guy was a random find on Temu. He is in fact a pin, might place him on the new ita bag coming. I really should share my one completed Buggy ita bag. First and only one I've ever put together too, rather proud of it actually!

These were undoubtedly another random Temu find. I love the charming sexy artwork so much.

You guessed it, this mini framed wanted poster was discovered on Temu too. *lol* It was labeled as a "BANDAI" item. Highly doubt that, it's already been discontinued. Ultimately, it fits properly in my constantly growing flashy collection!

Admittedly, most of the Buggy items I found on Temu were accidental finds. By accidental I mean, I was searching something else and Temu gave me recommendations. These recommendations often being listed under something along the lines of "BANDAI One Piece 18 Styles Wanted Poster - Baki." Other finds were from me clicking on an interesting looking One Piece item, to find that there was a Buggy version listed too! The site doesn't really make it easy to search for certain things. It can be like a needle in a haystack! The little acrylic pin I just received was listed under: "[Authorized] Bandai Cartoon Anime One Piece Peripheral Acrylic Brooch Hot-Blooded One Piece Creative Bag Decoration Patch Small Pendant." If I had never clicked on the listing, I never would have known! Sadly that Buggy pin is sold out. All my other Buggy Temu finds are now "discontinued." I've found a total of 6 items on Temu so far I believe? One of which I did not buy, a metal wanted poster. I have tried the following searches "One Piece Anime," "One Piece Buggy," "One Piece Bandai," "Buggy the Clown," just to name some. The only item I found on Temu while searching "One Piece Buggy," was this fellow:

Items obviously sell out fast. If you want, I can try my best to give you a heads-up when I stumble upon something. It also makes me smile to hear you love my merch posts. If it wasn't for my one friend, I may not have started posting my collection here. So, I owe her a big thanks for that.

The Bombastic Clown!

Still waiting ever so patiently for my booster boxes of One Piece cards. In the meantime, here is a minor update! *woot* This sexy hunk of a clown, in these two pictures is in fact a magnet!

The kind seller sent me some freebies, including this rather flashy card. I actually have the garage kit pictured. Took me three sellers, lengthy story, before he ultimately became mine!

Indeed, two of the pins glow-in-the-dark! Which naturally makes them even more amazing!!! *screams*

Gradually getting all the TCG cards, both Japanese and English versions. Yes, Mr. 2 (aka Bon Clay or Bentham) snuck his way in there. He's a fantastic character and if I possessed the needed funds, then he would be part of my collection too.

This evening, I will be requesting consolidation of my next box full of Buggy from Japan! Then it shall be shipped! *hooray* Oh and I should really share what I've achieved with my new ita bag so far! That shall be properly reserved for another post.
