I've had people in the past that would say I would get more autistic, or " get super autism" when I was drunk or high.

I'm only realizing now that I don't get more autistic when I'm under the influence, I'm just not masking. I stim, my voice is different, my sense of touch is different, so I feel around for textures and leading me to stim more.

I've been masking for so long that I can't turn it off, so I hope I can't find a way to freely be me when I'm sober.
