Character Design - Melat Kono-Breal
This is a ‘friendly’ NPC in my current campaign, working with a similarly aligned party who the PCs are searching for. I like to allow the PCs to find him through a trail of rapidly and brutally converted locals and beggars who got in his way, following tracks of Infernal prayer and branded flesh. Also, he weirdly acts as a father figure for several NPCs, as he is polite and honest, but also behaves ruthlessly when encouraged to. This is designed using the Pathfinder RPG system.

Custom Item - Bloodfeast
This is a custom, magical item, designed using the Pathfinder RPG system. I used a heavily modified version of this particular Bastard Sword as a cursed item in one of my early campaigns and worked rather well for at least one of my players, at least until it almost killed him, almost.

A little about myself and what I want to do here
Tumblr is a new battleground for me, something expansive and raw to explore for the first time, dropping directly into the most dangerous period of time for anyone seeking success in their actions, a time known as the beginning. Now, I’m no stranger to risks, me and uncertainty are good friends by now, but there is still the bloated and stressful task awaiting me of approaching how I want to do all of *waves hands about wildly* this.
So, as of today, this little, warm and comfortable corner of the world will be my pigeon-hole for my ideas, concepts and structures surrounding my primary hobby, writing stories and rolling a lot of dice. For those of you unaware, I am a player of Table top RPG’s (Paper, Dice, Stories, etc.), so I will utilise this cupboard of wonder and fascination to post interests surrounding my experiences in said hobby with said dice. This boat will more than likely take many weeks to steady itself and shine up the woodwork so prepare for choppy seas and brewing storms because I have work to do to keep this ship afloat.
The person behind the keyboard, me, is a English, post-education nerd and Dungeon Master of half a decade now, running games in various systems for a close-network of friends as I have the majority of experience and resources. I will mainly focus on either stories surrounding my efforts as a DM, offering advice for troublesome situations enveloped within all things Dungeon Master and posting examples of my work including one-shots, character concepts, campaign settings and more.

Settlement Design - Nepulas, The Crooked City
The city of Nepulas is a main hub-town I am using in my current Pathfinder campaign. It works well as a rather fluid and untraditional city as its geography isolates it from any pre-existing cities and settlements, it being suspended 80 ft above the sea on the edge of a cliff, having to winch any visiting ships up to the Hanging Docks with a huge crane. This also allows for the city to itself act as a dangerous environment, as the PCs could find themselves falling off of the edge at any time, if they aren't wary. The city’s isolation acts as a way to justify the criminal and corrupt behaviour that transcends daily life on the streets and in the halls, as there is no standard, default authority such as a King or Overlord, more alike a series of unjust, selfish horrors of society, stamping on each others heads and hands to grab as much real estate as possible in the gang-warfare equivalent of a coup. I am currently using this as a hook to encourage interaction from the PCs, as I am introducing the concept of a possible agreement between the city’s current authority and an influential figurehead of a grander Empire, to adopt the city into their grasps. Meaning that the city will no longer be a safe-haven for the PC’s less than hospitable behaviour. The city isolation will act as the PCs best ally, rather than their greatest opposition.

Sunday Respite - Custom Magical Weapons
Hey, it’s a Sunday, right? So, Dungeon Master, why do all the work yourself when you can borrow a few ideas from somewhere else, scot-free? This week I have 5 custom, magical weapons for your viewing pleasure and I hope to continue this in the future, leaving enough room for your own customisation and adjustment for the personal flair.
Wolfbite Warhammer
An enchanted, round headed-mace, with the carving of a fanged mouth on the head which turns into an animate mouth with teeth on a powerful blow, biting at the victim with a bestial maw, tearing off flesh and chewing bone, allowing the user, with a powerful withdraw of the weapon, pull their opponent off of their feet
Thunderleap Javelin
This Javelin is made of one continuous piece of steel from head to hilt, with a serrated blade edge. When this Javelin is thrown, and hits the target, the thrower instantly jumps from his original position to adjacent to where the javelin landed.
Dagger of Grounding
This exquisite dagger of clear Obsidian, supported by a steel frame has a brown handle with a soily, dry touch, stretching up into a strong spine across the flat edge of the blade. When the wielder of this dagger is struck by an electrical attack or effect, for a limited time, the electrical damage is stored within the blade, releasing its full potency on the next target struck by the metal or the wielder if they don’t get rid of it quick enough.
Thunderclap
These brutally jagged and ferocious brass knuckles have the carving of a rolling thunderstorm on their body, which periodically flashes up with light when a blow is dealt. However, when a demolishing hit is landed well a colossal burst of rolling thunder echoes from the wielder, causing those nearby to become deafened, clutching their ringing ears.
Metalswim Crossbow
This heavy crossbow has a sturdy, oaken frame accented with willow details of treelines and meadows. Bolts fired from this Crossbow pass through metal like it was water, ignoring armour, shields, fences and doors made of Gold, Iron and the such.

Sunday Respite - Adventure Hooks
There’s only so many times that you can pull the ‘kidnapped princess’ or ‘lost artefact of immense power but little recognition and poorly maintained surroundings’ cards before your players begin to think that the deck is stacked against their favour. Therefore, feel free to accept a brief collection of interesting, open-ended plot-hooks for you Tabletop adventures.
Bones and Mortar
In a sleepy village, several buildings and houses have appeared around the settlement, fully decorated and uninhabited. After a brief investigation it is clear that the structures are more than simple stone and oak, but constructed of organic tissue, like bone furniture, curtains of skin, walls of teeth, and cloths of hair. These houses then animate and begin kidnapping the residents, walking them to their master in the hills on legs of cobble and brick.
The Oil Pit
A community whose primary industry is the drilling and excavation of oil and pitch from under the earth uncovered a creature of living oil, which proceeded to attack the workers, sending them back to their families and friends, wounded and choking, only for them to turn and attack once again, their blood replaced by slick.
Hole in the Sky
A traditional fireworks display to celebrate an annual event manages to crack a hole in the sky, piercing through into pitch blackness, dislodging a shard of the air to the ground. The next morning, descending from the gap, is a metal ladder, about 200 ft in height, with a paper note attached to the first rung - ‘You Knocked?’
The Clothes’ New Emperor
A local Duke, Noble or Lord has inherited a collection of rich and fanciful clothes and armaments from an unknown relative who passed away, brought to him by foreign mourners and friends of their kin. However, upon wearing the gifts, the clothes turned on their new owner, making the Lord believe that they are Prince Estobaan Raithgyr and that all of his servants and subjects are heathens and blasphemers, inciting an inquisition of his land, an inquisition lead by the mourners and friends.
Where Did We All Go Wrong?
Upon their travels, the party is confronted by a panicked and nervous Demon of horns and scars, horrid in his visage but pleasant and fearful in his address, informing the party that he means them no harm and is being hunted by ‘terrors and fiends’. Almost immediately, stepping through a portal, are three angelic humanoids, with golden skin and shining halos, who act aggressively and brutally, demanding the Demon to be executed along with the party, following up to breathe forth gouts of flame and spin curses with their words, in Demonic tongue.
