Aight one more hyperfixation rant before the year’s over because I cannot tell all of you how fucking happy the Sonic renaissance has made me.

From a sequel that absolutely FUCKED on all accounts (I actually cried when the movie ended I was THAT overjoyed, seeing it with my friends was such a special experience)

To then a game that has a story I’m actually invested in, wonderful dialogue (seriously everyone got done so right I’m so happy, I fucking ADORED Sonic’s character in Frontiers oh my GOD), amazing voice direction (seriously Roger did not have to go THAT HARD WHAT-). And of course, a fucking incredible soundtrack that’s unironically considered status tier (I cannot tell you how happy that’s made me as well holy shit I was smiling like a dumbass when I saw the memes).

I haven’t seen Sonic Prime YET, but I’m planning to next year.

Sonic was the first fandom I’ve ever joined and the years of character flanderisation and mid quality absolutely stung.

But seeing all of this has been fucking beautiful and I cannot wait for the future of this franchise and Sonic 3 (I am a big supporter of Robert Pattinson Shadow but if it’s anyone else that sounds really good then I’m not gonna complain)
