I haven’t seen the musical but I watched the movie Heathers and didn’t really get why so many people headcanoned Heather Duke as aroace as nothing really hinted to that or anything

Hilda Berg and Werner Werman AU

I have this AU where Hilda was called to work as one of the Prussian pilots in the war since she's lived near that country, and when she applies she's coached by Werner Werman, one of the 5star generals there and stuff There's one compartment in her observatory where it's all just military medals that she keeps locked away because she's gained untreated PTSD from that Werner Werman is very eager to talk about his war experiences whenever someone asks him, and often brings up Hilda since her performance as a Prussian pilot was extremely satisfactory, and has tried to find Hilda a couple of times so they can both reminisce But Hilda always tries to block out her war experiences and has dropped off pilotry ever since. She began to cope with horoscopes and began to live at an observatory so she could look at the stars and whatnot!! Her temper rises whenever someone asks her about the war, and she angrily tells them to leave her be and she breaks down in tears boohoo anyways TL;DR the AU is just her being a traumatized war veteran who copes with astronomy and horoscopes LOL
