he’s slowly warming up to you, a person who expresses themselves freely 

he’s staring at you as you animatedly tell him about every and anything that happened to you and he’s going like, “damn this person is so full of life-”

and like i said, he’s slowly warming up to you and your expressions and he’d pick up your mannerisms along the way

in my mind wooyoung is that nice person, all-rounder just so swoon worthy in a school setting (mmm a bit like rivals to lovers but none of you are rivals)

you’d have fallen for him first but your crush being hidden under wraps because you’re that much of a wallflower

not until you caught his attention when he spilt milk on your shoes 

since then he has been teasing you, attempting to find you to bother you everyday

he finds himself so caught up by you he falls in love with you too awhh

chaotic on the outside x chaotic on the inside ➯ jongho

jongho as: chaotic on the inside

he doesn’t show his “goofy, quirky” side ever too often for he’s trying to go for that chic and friendly look 

but as soon as the opportunity lands right smack at his feet, he’d take it

you two have a slightly mean streak of humour but what’s done is all in the name of friendship and are generally harmless

a/n: i thoroughly enjoyed writing this (and also had a similar dream to this) so ! i hope you enjoy ~

When people dream, sometimes they would see a glimpse of what happened when they were in a different body, a different time, a different place. No one had an explanation for that. 

The thing is, Wooyoung oddly and vividly remembers every single lifetime he has been in. Records of his personal diary was proof of that. Memories of every single timeline were etched into his memory. Not only that, the lore that birthmarks (or moles) are the places where your lover kisses them are true: that Wooyoung can vouch for. 

And there you were. You were always there for him, be it the handsome son of the ahjumma making bathing washes, the neighbor-next-door, the best friend he had a pull to, the co-worker who refused to date him until he produced good results and more. 

“Woo, tell me about this one.” He was pulled out of his reverie, glancing back down at you in his arms. You pointed to the mole just on the tops of both wrists. “Ah, this one. Back in the Joseon dynasty, I might have enjoyed kissing your hands too much.” You stared at him in disbelief, “Really?”

“Your mother had specialized in special bathing waters that could make people’s skin soft. For a man, your hands were pretty delicate, and really nice to hold. A fair maiden like me then was most definitely obsessed with that. Especially when you combed my hair.” Wooyoung added, a hint of teasing in his voice. He watched as you wiggled your fingers, satisfied with his reply. 

“Was there ever a time when we were both of the same gender?” You mused. “Just in this one lifetime. It was hard to get together, but we made it happen anyway. We even adopted a golden retriever because it made the two of us happy.” That lifetime was one of Wooyoung’s favorites (he also remembers that the dog was called Sparky, credits to you). He wasn’t rebellious by heart, but he liked the notion of going against stereotypes. 

“Then what about this one?” You pointed to your right knee. Wooyoung could still remember that, the scene fresh in his mind. “We grew up together as neighbors then became lovers. It’s a very typical and cute relationship. You always tripped as a little kid and made me kiss your bloody knees. Not the nicest thing to kiss in my opinion.” 

“Hey!” You turned around to lightly smack in the chest but he grabbed your hand, “Yet I would do it a million times to see you smile again. You are still clumsy for a matter of fact, but it’s endearing.” Wooyoung kissed the mole by the corner of your lips, liking the way you easily melted into that feathery light touch. 

“So you’ve known me for many lifetimes. Why find me again?” “I made a promise, right at the end of my first life. I said that I would find you no matter where you were.” Wooyoung felt his heart twinge at the bittersweet memory: tears quickly followed by easy laughter as soon as the throes of death came knocking at his door. 

“I love you. And thank you for finding me even though I don’t remember a thing.” You burrowed your face into the juncture of his neck and shoulder and he laughed, “You silly. We are soulmates after all.”

↬ jeonghan ; opening doors for you, pulling out chairs for you

“let me get that for you.” jeonghan extended his arms exaggeratedly, pulling out the chair for you with a curtsy. people were definitely staring at you two from across the diner. plus, you were pretty sure jeonghan was beaming because of your currently flushed face, but didn’t say anything about it. 

only after you two were seated, then you finally let out a breath, a smile gracing your lips, “hannie, what was that!” you burst out laughing at how he sincerely held his position and because you were so shocked he had to gently nudge you towards the chair. 

“what? can’t i be gentlemanly for the love of my life? this is the bare minimum by the way, you should expect more from me.” 

↬ joshua ; helping you to change out of your clothes after a long day

“love, you’re home!” joshua greeted and you gratefully reciprocated his hug. 

“i’m so sleepy.” you whined, and he lightly chuckled before picking you up, “then let’s get you into clean clothes hmm?” 

joshua easily removed your clothes, love and attention pouring into the way he was being careful with you. as soon as you two hit the bed, you promptly curled into his side, falling into deep slumber as he embraced you tightly. 

↬ woozi ; putting his hand around sharp edges 

“watch your head there,” woozi gently reminded, hands cupping around the pointy edge of the table as you bent down to grab your fork. he did it so unconsciously, continuing the conversation with jeonghan. you sat yourself upright, noting the hand covering the edge. smiling at the simple yet heartwarming act, you leaned over to peck woozi’s cheek, “thanks babe.” 

↬ dokyeom ; has hair ties on his hands 

dokyeom squinted at the blazing hot sun and you stood near him, mirroring his actions. he instinctively held his hands out, two or three hair ties adorning each wrist. 

you looked up at him, mirth clouding your eyes. since when did he start having your hair ties with him? “what?” dokyeom stared back at you in confusion. “nothing. I’ll be taking one of these.” you pretended to decide between the three, before pulling one off his wrist. “you cheeky little one.”

“kwan! Look!” he drops his phone to his lap, as you lean towards him, turning your laptop towards him. he wordlessly hooked his arm around your shoulders, listening attentively to your latest obsession over an anime you’ve started. “and i think that  this dude is really hot, i mean well not as hot as you of course…why are you staring at me like that?” you blushed, suddenly realizing how close he was to you. 

“i’m just listening to you, you big baby. go on, what were you saying?”

truth be told, sunghoon came to hate you a little bit at some point whilst “watching over” you. you had practically ignored him since the very first day he started his job as your personal bodyguard, only giving one-worded replies or a phrase at most. he was at your beck and call, chauffeuring you to your dance practices and music recitals; he was by your side at every event your parents had got you to go to. 

as far as sunghoon knew, you had a perfect life: everything you could ever want would be served to you whenever. your parents were rich and successful, and you were their only gifted child.

but that also didn’t mean you were happy. it didn’t take long for sunghoon to figure it out. 

maybe sunghoon was being unreasonable: it was just a job. yet he didn’t miss the way your eyes would harden when told to attend yet another event to boost your parents social status or how rare your genuine smiles were (the smiles on stage were just for show). 

the breaking point for him was when he spotted you hyperventilating, crying even, and you were crouched right by your bedside. he had thanked his lucky stars that he made the decision to check in on you since you had holed yourself up in the room that day. his heart sank for the scene of you holding in your tears behind your hand was wrong, wrong, wrong. 

despite all silent treatment, he had grown soft for you and letting you suffer alone was definitely not an option. 

sunghoon had half-expected you to push him away, but he was taken aback when you had asked between sobs for a hug.

in that second, sunghoon had carried you to bed, drying the tears that stained your face. it took a while to get you to sleep, yet sunghoon never left your side. the intangible feeling building up in his chest unraveled, spiraling out of control. he was so full of love for you. 

turns out that you had spent countless nights lamenting the fact you were that gifted-burnout-child, crying yourself till you were tired. that also explained the dark eyebags and lack of energy you had on most days.

neither of you ever spoke of that incident, but since then things changed. sunghoon shouldn’t be surprised, but he can’t help the way you had opened up to him: all he had to do was be patient with you (a strong suit he prided on). 

you started being verbal about your needs, started relying on him more instead of shouldering your burdens. and as usual Sunghoon would be that grounding presence, keeping you company. he’d sneak you your favorite foods even though you were on a diet, he’d hold you to sleep on days you couldn’t, he’d take you home as soon as he saw signs of being tired. 

somehow the last straw that made him fall in love with you was when you⁠—in your tired haze⁠—told him, sincerity lacing your sleepy voice, “sunghoon, no words can describe the immense amount of…love i have for you. i love you.”
