As a manager in charge of watching 12 rowdy boys, you had half wished that you had taken a diploma in early childhood education. You sighed in relief when your duties were being passed on to the filming crew, which was going to produce Come On! The Boyz for the different types of “fairies”. Your good friend, Yoomi walked over to you, “I can’t imagine you trying to handle all 12 of them at once. They can be quite a bunch.” She reached behind you to grab the makeup bag and you saluted, “Good luck dealing with my boys today.”

“We’re going to begin filming! Please come on set!” The cameraman called out and the 12 of them filed onto the white stage. “Oof, it’s just another opportunity for Sunwoo to show off his acting skills.” You realised, muttering to yourself. You had to admit, Sunwoo was the jokester of The Boyz, yet he had many unique talents that made him rather prominent amongst the rest of them. You glanced at the set and Sunwoo roughly pulled on the collar of his jacket, “I will tear your limbs apart!” It wasn’t long after the top 3 “fairies” had received their badges that the director shouted “CUT!” and 12 of them moved out of the stage to touch-up their makeup.

You watched as Yoomi and a couple of the staff from the makeup team swarming amongst the 12 of them.You moved closer towards Yoomi as leaned towards you, speaking in hushed tones as she lightly dabbed Sunwoo’s sweat off his forehead, “Sunwoo-ya! You can practically do everything! Act, dance, rap and even probably sing!” You butted in, being just a little sarcastic on your part, “He has an image to uphold you know, being The Boyz’s comedian. His ego is so visible; I can almost watch it grow.” You muttered the last part to yourself and Sunwoo raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow.

“Noona-ya! How can you say that! It’s not because I have an image to uphold, but it’s because of fan service, you know?” Sunwoo was the only one who would call you “noona-ya” so casually, partly because you had told all 12 of them to call you noona and partly because you had known Sunwoo since he was just a little boy. “Yes, yes. I know that.” “Mhm. So tone it down a little so others get the spotlight,” You teased.

“Say, I could have been an actor!” Sunwoo received a mock-glare (more like a really adorable pout) from Jacob, “If you say that one more time, The Boyz would not hesitate to kick you out!”

“Hey, noona! What did you think of my lines just now? Wasn’t I really sexy?”

“Go and get to filming.” (To be honest, you had thought Sunwoo was really impressive when he had recited that line from Romantic Doctor, Master Kim and you had to hide your blush from other staff when he glanced at you for a second before fluently saying it.)

Seungcheol propped his hands up on the table as he watches you animatedly talking about your day at the childcare centre. He wasn’t really listening, more like staring at you with a silly lop-sided grin on his face.

“You know Seorim, right? The tiny little girl who accidentally broke her front tooth the other day? It’s her birthday today, and it was so sweet of her to offer her piece of cake to me! My heart melted when she sincerely wanted to share the cake with me.” You paused to shove a spoonful of kimchi fried rice into your mouth.

Does she know that when she stuffs food into her mouth, she looks like an adorable hamster?

“Oh! Oh! And this boy...you know Harang? Yeah? And he hid in a bucket and none of the teachers found him! I was so worried sick but turns out he was playing hide and seek, and fell asleep in the bucket! I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or to be anxious for his disappearance. That cheeky boy…” You giggled at the silly memory hours ago as you put your bowl down. 

Does she know that I yearn to hear that from her when I’m feeling down?

“Cheol. Seungcheol. Are you okay? You keep smiling at nothing in particular.” You got up to put the dirty dishes in the sink. Seungcheol snapped out of his trance, “I’ll do the dishes for you.” Seungcheol’s rap lessons were not that packed today, allowing him to prepare dinner for you.

“Really? You’d do it for me? Oh my gosh! You’re the sweetest!” You clung onto him like a koala and he hoisted you up so he was carrying you. “I love hearing your voice. Repeat that one more time.” 

You giggled at his request but obliged, lowering your voice just so that it was only him who could hear it, “You’re the sweetest Cheol. I can’t imagine how lucky I am to have met you.”

“And I love you too. Should we just leave the dishes? I bet Jeonghan would clean it tomorrow.”

“Mhm. I want to shower with you after a long day of work. My neck hurts. “

“Let’s do that then. I’ll give you all the cuddles you need.”

“Yujin-ah?” You lifted your gaze to your dance instructor, Jaewoo and he continued, “We’re going to treat The Boyz to some pork belly I bought earlier.” “This is for their first win, right?” As a student under Jaewoo and an assistant dance instructor to The Boyz, you were elated that they had gotten their first win with their song “Bloom Bloom”.  “Yup! They deserve it since they have been putting so much effort since their previous comeback. Could you make a trip to the convenience store downstairs and grab some drinks and ramen packets?” You nodded your head and playfully added, “Consider it done, Jaewoo-ssi.” You watched as he pulled out a portable stove, along with pots and pans. So you weren’t the only one who had predicted their win.

Clad in a The Boyz windbreaker, you trekked to the nearby convenience store. Pursing your lips, you decided to get some instant rice as well, on top of the 10 packets of ramen. “Aigoo! Are you sure you can carry that? Are you throwing a party?” The lady behind the cashier poked her head out from behind the computer screen and you gave her a wry smile, “I’ll be okay, I’ll come back later to grab . And yeah, I’m throwing a party for a bunch of rowdy boys.” You joked, handing her Cre.ker Entertainment’s credit card. “I’ll get going then!”

Stuffing all the drinks into a reusable bag, you hurried back into the building, being mindful that you don’t get caught heaving those drinks to the practice room. “Thank goodness. I was going to jump at you!” Jaewoo sighed in relief and helped you with the bags. As soon as he said that, The Boyz burst through the door, nearly toppling you over. “Hyung! You could have caused her to fall!” Juhaknyeon lightly chided Sangyeon for opening the door a little too loudly and violently.

“Er, surprise?” The door was widened further to accommodate the other 10. “We didn’t think you would come so early. But, it doesn’t really matter. Congrats boys!” Jaewoo popped the party-poppers, effectively throwing you off guard. You heard Q scream somewhere on your right, but the only thing you could think now was the fact that Juhaknyeon was too close to you. You suddenly realised that you had left the drinks with the lady downstairs, “Wait!” Everyone paused mid-celebration to look at you.

“I left the drinks downstairs.” You shyly pointed out, slowly shuffling to the door. “Juhaknyeon, you should go with her.” Jacob nudged him. “Yeah! Haknyeon, accompany her down.” Sangyeon wiggled his eyebrows and a silent conversation passed between them. “Okay. Should I get potato chips as well?” Everyone shouted in agreement and began pushing the two of you out of the practice room.

“How many bottles did you buy?” Juhaknyeon laughed and you pointed at the convenience store across the street, “That neon green bag across the street in the convenience store is what holds your drink.” His eyes widened, “I can’t wait to see what you got!” He held your hand and bounded to the other side. You tried to pick up the bag, but Juhaknyeon beat you to it. “Aigoo! Is this your boyfriend? I’ve seen him many times in my shop!” “Hahaha, no. We are good friends!”

“She is a fine catch, young man.” Juhaknyeon blushed, “Ah, okay. Uh, have a nice day!” The lady waved as she begun to close the shop. “Good thing we came. A minute later and your drinks would be water.” "My heart is like a convenience store. It's open 24 hours for you." Juhaknyeon suddenly piped up. “Well, you aren’t like this convenience store that closes at 9.” You did a double take, “Wait, what?”

“I have been crushing on you for sometime…” He admitted. To be honest, you had developed a thing for him, but you had pushed your feelings aside when you found out that he was going to debut and you were going to be his dance instructor.

“I could say the same. Though that pick-up line definitely made an impact.”

“I had thought Jaewoo hyung liked you.”

“Him? Nah, he’s just a mentor whom I admire.”

“So I do stand a chance! Yay!” (His bubbly personality made you smile and you were whipped for him.)
