As a manager in charge of watching 12 rowdy boys, you had half wished that you had taken a diploma in early childhood education. You sighed in relief when your duties were being passed on to the filming crew, which was going to produce Come On! The Boyz for the different types of “fairies”. Your good friend, Yoomi walked over to you, “I can’t imagine you trying to handle all 12 of them at once. They can be quite a bunch.” She reached behind you to grab the makeup bag and you saluted, “Good luck dealing with my boys today.”
“We’re going to begin filming! Please come on set!” The cameraman called out and the 12 of them filed onto the white stage. “Oof, it’s just another opportunity for Sunwoo to show off his acting skills.” You realised, muttering to yourself. You had to admit, Sunwoo was the jokester of The Boyz, yet he had many unique talents that made him rather prominent amongst the rest of them. You glanced at the set and Sunwoo roughly pulled on the collar of his jacket, “I will tear your limbs apart!” It wasn’t long after the top 3 “fairies” had received their badges that the director shouted “CUT!” and 12 of them moved out of the stage to touch-up their makeup.
You watched as Yoomi and a couple of the staff from the makeup team swarming amongst the 12 of them. You moved closer towards Yoomi as leaned towards you, speaking in hushed tones as she lightly dabbed Sunwoo’s sweat off his forehead, “Sunwoo-ya! You can practically do everything! Act, dance, rap and even probably sing!” You butted in, being just a little sarcastic on your part, “He has an image to uphold you know, being The Boyz’s comedian. His ego is so visible; I can almost watch it grow.” You muttered the last part to yourself and Sunwoo raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow.
“Noona-ya! How can you say that! It’s not because I have an image to uphold, but it’s because of fan service, you know?” Sunwoo was the only one who would call you “noona-ya” so casually, partly because you had told all 12 of them to call you noona and partly because you had known Sunwoo since he was just a little boy. “Yes, yes. I know that.” “Mhm. So tone it down a little so others get the spotlight,” You teased.
“Say, I could have been an actor!” Sunwoo received a mock-glare (more like a really adorable pout) from Jacob, “If you say that one more time, The Boyz would not hesitate to kick you out!”
“Hey, noona! What did you think of my lines just now? Wasn’t I really sexy?”
“Go and get to filming.” (To be honest, you had thought Sunwoo was really impressive when he had recited that line from Romantic Doctor, Master Kim and you had to hide your blush from other staff when he glanced at you for a second before fluently saying it.)

You silently cursed yourself when you felt an empty side pocket where your umbrella was supposed to be. Braving yourself, you cringed when your foot landed in a puddle, but half of your body was already out in the rain and you couldn’t stop now. Running like a madman, you tried to shield your head with your (thankfully) water-proof bag.
You weren’t planning to head to The Boyz dorm, but that was the only safe place to hide from the pouring rain. Plus it was hella close to your school. With at least 75% of you being soaked, you padded to their door. Knocking in resignation, you waited awkwardly and hoped that maybe someone was in the dorm. “Jacob oppa!” Your eyes lit up, knowing that your knocking had paid off. Said angel quickly ushered you in, taking your school bag from you. “Didn’t Sunwoo message you saying he would fetch you?” You stood at the doorway still, and he brisk-walked into his room, handing you a towel.
Before you could open your mouth to say no, he put two floor mats next to the cupboard of shoes; one for your bag, one for you to stand on. He put his hands on his hips, “I guess you can borrow Sunwoo’s stuff. Let me go and get something for you to wear.” You nodded gratefully as you tried to absorb what water was on your arms and legs.
“Here you go. Have you had lunch yet? I don’t think so. Let me cook ramyeon for you.” Jacob answered his own questions and he gestured for you to go and change. You attempted to not leave wet tracks and skidded into the toilet. Peeling the wet clothes off you, you blotted your hair dry and put on Sunwoo’s sweater and a pair of his (smallest, you hope) sweatpants.
“Where do I hang my clothes?” “Just leave them inside! I’ll tell the two boys when they get back!” You emerged from the room and plonked yourself down at the dining table, “Thank you for the meal!” Jacob sat across you and he smiled, “I made it the way you like.” You glanced around at the empty dorm, realising that your brother wasn’t around, “Where did Sangyeon go?” “It’s our free day today and your brother has decided to coop himself in the studio. And the rest are out except me. Eat it while it’s hot!” He pushed the bowl of steaming hot noodles to you.
“We’re back hyung!” Eric announced and stopped short, causing Sunwoo to yelp from behind him. “Hi Eric and Sunwoo.” You covered your mouth as you waved at them. “Change out and come eat lunch.” Jacob tapped the empty seats around you and they skittered into their rooms. “Oh my god. I’m famished.” Sunwoo commented as he dragged the chair beside you, seating down and scooping a big helping for himself.
“Sunwoo, I thought you were going to be nice and fetch our maknae?” Sunwoo’s eyes widened, “Oh my god I completely forgot about fetching you!” You chuckled, “It’s okay. I guess you owe me one now.” Another yelp came from the toilet and Eric came out, “Your...your inner...wear is inside?” Jacob rolled his eyes, “Keep eating. I’ll hang your clothes in the drying rack.” He left his seat to help a flustered Eric.
“Is that my sweater you’re wearing?” Sunwoo lightly poked your cheeks. “Jacob oppa passed it to me. Why?” Other than the fact that the sweatpants were a little loose around the waist, it’s keeping you kinda warm. “Oh nothing.” He whipped his head back to his food and Eric sat across you. “He always wanted you to wear one of his clothing. Ain’t that right?” “YA ERIC SOHN!”
“Sorry what?” The piece of information dawned on you. “You look good. Grey was never really his color.” “ERIC SOHN! One more time and-!”
“And you two should get together~!”
“Can the three of you not talk while eating?”

↬ a/n: alright alright you guys must abso-freaking-lutely hate me now for posting so irregularly,, sorry for the super duper long wait i was very much out of ideas and busy with preparing and planning for a freshmen orientation in my school T^T
this story is loosely based on the BL “red candy” and i was inspired to do something like this,, moreover this lowkey had “the stealer” vibes and i went with it <3
"I’m sorry." Sunwoo gingerly tucked the stray strands of hair behind your ears, admiring your peaceful, sleeping figure. Everything he did so far was an act, but falling for you was not one. Sunwoo sighed. He could still remember when he first met you.
--
Sunwoo landed on his feet, eyes darting left and right. "Agent Sun, status." "Negative, Agent Q." He replied back, right hand hovering over his in-ear. "I'll proceed." A simple door code to the study room was no trouble for him. According to intel, Park Chanyeol, an infamous figure in the black market. Sunwoo's mission was to sift out any and every intel. Immediately scavenging thoroughly, he took pictures of any relevant material he could get his hands. Seconds trickled to minutes and Sunwoo was slowly losing hope. Maybe Chanyeol’s company would have a secret vault or something. The material sent wasn’t sufficient, but it will have to make do.
He held his breath at the sound of the door opening and the flicking sound of a switch turning on the lights. "Oh shit, shit, shit." Sunwoo cursed under his breath.
Cocking the pistol in his hands, he stood upright, back flushed against the wall. A little more shuffling and Sunwoo emerged from his hiding spot, only to discover you. Park Hanbyeol, the younger sister. Sunwoo’s brain sifted through all the possible endings that could happen. Think, think, think. Gun immediately returned back into its holster, you had finally laid eyes on him. He blurted out, “I’m the housekeeper!” He certainly looked the part too (actually he didn’t, he was just trying to convince himself), having tied his windbreaker around his waist and the simple mask worn.
According to his sources (he had LOADS of sources), the Chanyeol has a housekeeper which comes in once a week. Sunwoo felt a bead of sweat trickle down the side of his head and he prayed he was convincing enough. After this mission, I really should get proper acting lessons from actors instead. Your hand shot out, reaching out towards Sunwoo’s face. What is she trying to pull? Does she know some form of self-defense? How—
“You’re sweating a lot. You can switch on the air conditioning while you work, you know?” You wiped off the sweat and Sunwoo gulped, “U-Uh, noted.” Why you were here, was a secondary issue. Now, how am I going to gather intel with you around?
You cocked your head to the side, eyebrows furrowing. Oh shit, is my cover about to be blown? Sunwoo stood unmoving as you took a step back, “You probably got a shock, right? I don’t normally visit my big brother’s house but I’m trying to hide from my very angry mother, so I told him I’d be staying in his house until everything blows over.” That was when he noticed your flushed face under the glow emanating from the chandelier and he caught a whiff of some form of alcohol. You were drunk, thank goodness.
“Uh, miss. You should go to bed.” Sunwoo’s first instinct was to get you in bed, knock you out if necessary, then get searching and retreat. “I’m so tired I can’t walk anymore.” You hiccuped, lightly punching his chest. Sunwoo sighed. This was going to be a long night. Easily picking you up bridal style, he headed for the first room right next to the kitchen. He had memorized the entire blueprint and the locations of several CCTVs around in his target’s house. The camera would have been disabled, courtesy of Agent Q (Changmin, the one and only) who was camping outside, but he was going to be careful nevertheless.
You kept babbling on as Sunwoo placed you down, tuning you out. He removed his mask, exhaling at the immense pressure thrust upon him at a very unexpected timing. I should have accepted the job at the cafe. “This is Sun reporting. I have everything—”
Everything seemed to happen in slow-mo, when you yanked him and he fell, lips colliding into yours. Heat flooded his face and he jerked up, hands pulling his mask over his mouth. “I must be crazy, but your eyes are so pretty.” You giggled, before promptly falling asleep. “Sun? Sun? Do you need my help?” Sunwoo was everything but in control.
“Q, I’m done here.” “What? Why? You haven’t been in there for about an hour.” Q’s worried voice came over the intercom, and all Sunwoo could think about was how soft your lips were. “I’ve digged through everything and all the things I’ve sent you are the ones I could find.” Sunwoo lied. Sure, they were relevant, but there were other parts of the house he has yet to search through. I’d have to come back another day; back as a housekeeper, of course. But if anything, he wants out from the room you were in. “Alright. The cams are disabled. I’ve got your back; you can come out now.”
“Thanks.”
--
“Why?” You mumbled. Your brother has been put into jail. You didn’t know why and the media has been very hush hush about it. Sunwoo knowing that he was the one who had resulted in that, had felt utterly bad inside. “Nothing. You’re just so loveable.” He switched topics, hoping you weren’t going to ask.
“I love you.” Sunwoo doesn’t know how long he will keep up the act. Now that Chanyeol’s in jail, people were now after you. This mission was completed. His time was up. He was about to go overseas for a new commission, involving a drug dealer this time. You've believed that Sunwoo was the housekeeper and now Sunwoo was debating to either tell you that he was leaving to study overseas and risk you finding out (a lie) or that he had ulterior motives all along (the truth, which will result in a lot of pain).
He inwardly sighed, guilt weighing heavily on his heart: what should he do?

“That’s my bae! That’s my bae!” Sunwoo pointed at the court excitedly. Eric, who was dragged into this by Sunwoo, shook his head and shielded his face. You were in the midst of having your volleyball practice and Sunwoo, being the supportive boyfriend he is, was there to see you train.
“LET’S GO BAE!” He waved at you as you stretched, smiling from ear to ear at his cute antics. You languidly raised your hand up, making a peace sign. Sunwoo had practically memorized your training schedule so he could free up his time to cheer you on. Inter-school competitions were right round the corner and Sunshine Sunwoo was determined to make sure you (and your team) brought glory for the school.
“Let’s switch sides. Team A on my right and B on my left.” The coach shouted, and everyone shuffled positions. Sunwoo gazed at you as you confidently held the ball in your hands, ready to set the ball to the opposing team. Silence filled the air as Sunwoo leaned forwards in his seat. Single-handedly tossing the ball upwards with your left hand, the satisfying sound of your right hand hitting the ball resounded in the sports hall.
Sunwoo excitedly pumped his fist in the air, a wide grin on his face. He knew that volleyball was your passion and you were darn good at it; your competitiveness was not to be tested for you had high standards especially when it came to the sport. “Seola! Here!” Sunwoo’s eyes were trained on you as you called for your teammate to pass you the ball. Easily catching the sailing ball, you faked a pass before setting it over to the opposing team, causing them to be caught off guard.
Just like that for the next one to two hours, Sunwoo intently watched your gameplay, impressed every single time. Noting that Eric had left (no doubt to support his boyfie Kevin), Sunwoo trekked to the front row of seats. “Hi Sunnie.” “Geez, even after such a long, arduous training, my girlfriend is still as gorgeous as ever.” Sunwoo grabbed the towel from your hands and dabbed at your forehead. You leaned in, relishing the warmth he provided.
“Tell me I did great.” You cheekily peered at him through half-lidded eyes. Sunwoo bent down and pressed a kiss to your temple, “My bae did her best today.” “And my Sunwoo did his best cheering me on today.” You tightly wrapped your arms around his waist, pulling him closer to you. Inclining your head upwards, Sunwoo just continued beaming at you. Although the gap between Sunwoo and you made your position weird, you didn’t care. All you wanted was Sunwoo’s praise.
“Ah, you’re making me so shy.” “Says the ultra competitive setter.” He paused before gushing about you, “When you did that spike, I could literally see the flames erupting from that ball! And OMG, that serve was AMAZING. You were literally dancing all over the court, I wish I had another set of eyes...oh!”
You tugged on his jersey (read: your volleyball jersey), locking lips with him. Pulling away, he tried and failed to hide his silly lop-sided grin. “Give me 15 minutes. No wait, make that 10 minutes to shower. Let’s grab dinner together.”
“Bring ‘em in!” - Sunwoo & Eric

[warning: eric, sunwoo and you are lovers (aka in a poly relationship) <3]
“Sunwoo dear, why do you look so down?” Eric draped his arms around Sunwoo’s shoulder and Sunwoo plainly responded, “It’s my resting face. What about it?” Eric sighed dramatically, earning a pointed look from Sunwoo, “Sunwoo, it’s cuddles. YOU LACK CUDDLES.
Before Sunwoo could even formulate a witty response, Eric had taken advantage of his muscular frame and pushed Sunwoo down on the couch. “Bring ‘em in!” Eric hollered. Sunwoo didn’t want to be a part of this. “Eric, let go of me you—!”
Sunwoo's voice died down as he tried his best to not snicker at the sight beholding him. There you were, all clad in a simple nightie with tons of plushies tucked under both your arms and a fluffy headband adorning your face. You cleared your throat, “Get ready Sunwoo, because Eric and I are gonna cuddle the life outta you!”
Eric was practically radiating excitement as you set the plushies down around the 3 of you. Sunwoo watched, amused, as the two of you made yourselves comfortable around his stagnant figure: Eric coddling him on the right while you lay your head on his lap on the left.
“Say, are you feeling better?” You peered up at him as Eric titled his head to the right, waiting for his answer. At this point, whatever grumpiness and tiredness were thrown out of the window. Sunwoo’s lips twitched and he gave both Eric and you a peck on your cheeks, “Yeah, I am.”
Eric cheered beside him, “I had a feeling you wouldn’t stay moody for long, so I’ve already prepared what we were gonna watch beforehand.!” “Awh yeah, movie night with my favourites!” You beamed. Sunwoo relaxed, right arm looped around a curled up Eric while his left hand carded through your hair.
“Did someone say movie night?” Sangyeon stood by the walkway and Sunwoo huffed, a wide smile evident on his face, “Sorry hyung, you aren’t invited to this one.”
“Anyday.” - Sunwoo

Sunwoo tucked his basketball under his arm and swung his bag over his shoulder, “You know, as seniors we ought to be more cohesive with our juniors. Should we plan a bonding day? Or maybe we can stay back after training? You know as leaders of our club we can be more friendly…”
Eric rolled his eyes, pushing in his chair whilst waiting for Sunwoo to hurry up. “Speaking of training, it is literally about to start. So if you’d stop yapping we’d be on our way--”
“Hold on isn’t that…” Sunwoo interrupted Eric’s lecture, brushing past him towards the classroom doors. “Kim Sunwoo I wasn’t done talking?!” Eric huffed and followed behind but Sunwoo paid no attention, for his focus was on you.
Why were you outside his classroom?
“Sunwoo.” You greeted him halfheartedly, arms locked in front of you. Sunwoo eyed you, playfully teasing “What are you doing here, squirt?” Eric stood nearby, sighing a little too loudly to signify his presence. Right, training was about to start.
You visibly stiffened at Eric’s exhale, “Are you headed home? I kinda need a ride.” Sunwoo tipped his head towards the basketball under his arms, “No can do. I’ve got basketball practice. And it’s gonna be quite a while.” Sunwoo didn’t miss the dejected look that flashed across your face as you tilted your head down.
You shifted your weight from one foot to the other, as if you wanted to say something more. Eric cleared his throat again and you quickly shook your head, “It’s okay then. Have a good practice you two.” As soon as you made that declaration, Eric took this opportunity to drag Sunwoo away.
Uneasiness settled in Sunwoo’s heart and he craned his neck to glance at you through the throng of students.
Why did you have to make him worried?
“I’m not going.” “Going where? Training?” Eric joked, but stopped when Sunwoo ceased walking. “Sunwoo, you…don’t tell me…”
“Captain Eric, I’m pretty sure you can handle one training without your Vice-Captain, right?” Sunwoo was already backtracking, and Eric exasperatedly threw out his hands, “Really? Really?! You do know our juniors are the noisiest bunch of children?”
Sunwoo waved as a reassurance, sprinting away, whilst hollering, “Just get someone leader-material, uhmm, Han Jisung! The logistics leader! I’ll make it up for the next practice!” He didn’t have the time to watch Eric’s mild breakdown.
Scrambling down steps 2 at a time, he ran with all his might to the bicycle bay. Hopping onto his bike, he easily whizzed through the crowd, spotting you from afar. A pang of relief surged through his body, for you were still fine (although you were slowly dragging your feet to the school gate).
“Yo squirt!” You flicked your head around, watching, surprised that Sunwoo was pedaling at full force. “Sunwoo?” He dismounted the bike, beads of sweat dotting his forehead, “Hop on.”
“Don’t you have practice? (Why are you here?)” You bit back your curiosity and Sunwoo patted the empty passenger spot behind his seat. “Nevermind that. You on the other hand look like you’re about to drop unconscious. Care to explain?”
“Just a headache. A bad headache” You added on when Sunwoo raised his eyebrow (it was as if he saw through your attempt to be alright) at your initial statement. “Yeah, that just proves my point about you looking sickly. Get on, squirt. I’m taking you all the way home.”
Sunwoo saw through your momentary hesitance and pulled you towards the seat, “Really. I mean it. You came to me, didn’t you?” The thought of you getting home faster and skipping the crowded public transport (which will aggravate your headache) won you over. Just like that, you two were on your way home.
“Sunwoo, did you really skip practice?” “Uh no? I wasn’t needed today. Today Coach wants to focus on the juniors.” He lied through his teeth, a line rehearsed and repeated on his way down. “Okay. Not because of me right?” Worry laced your words. Sunwoo almost cooed at how adorable you were in that moment. .
“You silly. Why would I skip practice?” He teased you (you smacked him real hard on the back), but his heart softened and added on, “You on the other hand have a knack for making me worried.” That seemed to perk you up and you held onto his waist tighter.
“Thank you Sunwoo.” “Anyday.“
