I know the feeling I'm a.manager at a fast food restaurant and during the beginning of the virus I had a family stop in to order food the fathers card declined and looked sad he was starting to pull away when I told him wait a minute and used the last of the money I had to pay for his meal he looked surprised and thanked me later on that night he came back with a note an an envelope the note made me cry as he said thank you for paying for our meal we are.on tough times as both me and my wife lost our jobs but inside the envelope made me cry they paid me fifty dollars as thank you I was so happy I helped a family in need
I was in line at Aldi and this girl with two toddlers in front of me had her card declined and she looked so fucking sad and said “let me call my husband real quick” and it was only 18 dollars, so I just paid for it, and she was very sweet and then as she walked off, the lady behind me said `”You know that was probably a scam, right?” and like, even if it was, like what a sad fucking scam, right? 18 dollars at the Aldi. If you’re “scamming” me for some Tyson chicken and apple juice and cauliflower, then just take my fucking money.
“A scam” people are fucking wild.
