Day 27: Eyes

Day 27: Eyes
“Darkwood flora has always been… unique. Although, it is hard to say if it was the result of He of Havoc’s influence, or something that existed before he did”.
I have to say, Darkwood’s design has always been an interesting one. The interactive comic in the pilgrim pack DLC definitely gave it justice too.

Day 3: Followers
“For what is a shepherd without their flock ?”
Here are three followers of lamb’s cult that will have a semi-frequent appearance on the fanfic “Encore!”. They are Khan (Yellow cat), Hauras and Baalzebub. So far, only Hauras has made an appearance, but the other two will show up eventually!.
Khan (Male domestic cat. He/him): Born inside the cult years after the initial crusade of the lamb ended, he did not experience the hardships of the land that his parents and ancestors had to. Nor he held the negative perception they had against the old faith. He was still relatively young when Leshy was indocrinated, and even if the truth of who he was obvious, the feline still felt curious about the worm. However, his parents made sure to keep their eyes on him at all times, less he accidentally crossed paths with the aggressive former god. Now that he is an adult and his parents have passed to a better life, he has tried to befriend Leshy out of curiosity to learn about him, and also due to genuine sympathy. After all, he lives isolated with his kin and barely steps foot into the cult. He surely must be lonely….. He is a farmer/part time lumberjack.
Hauras (Female deformed scorpion. She/them): One of Shamura’s former disciples, and they don’t seem to miss her former life inside the old faith. She actually seems happier in the lamb's cult than back in Silk cradle (probably because the lamb allows her to slack more than Shamura ever did as a bishop...). Speaking of the spider, deep down she and the rest of their disciples have been trying to check on them, only for Heket to turn them away with spits and curses. After her falling out with her own disciples, the frog does not trust anyone who used to served the old faith during the time of the first crusade.... And even if they don't admit it, Hauras deep down holds a sort of sense of care and concern for the state of their former master.
Baalzebub (Female deformed Cuttlefish. She/ them): One of Kallamar's former disciples. She joined his cult when she was but a young girl, with big dreams to gain importance with her literacy and poetry talents. After all, the bishop of pestilence had always played patron to all sorts of artists. Things took an unexpected turn when she ended up wrapped inside his inner court and becoming more of a follower than a servant. Yes, she still had the liberty to work in her projects (until the lamb arrived, that is), but she was not expecting to actually take part on the dirty businesses of the old faith directly. She eventually grew accustomed to it, specially after spending more and more time with her master until things started to bloom in her..... Her feelings for Kallamar were no secret to anyone, even the squid himself. However, his paranoia over the prophecy and fear of death were much stronger back then than his well known .... Ejem.... AMOROUS and generous nature. So he never tried anything with her and she did not dare to take the initiative to court a god. After her indoctrination into the lamb's cult, she was this orient eisciples already presente, out her worries at ease. Suddenly, she was free once again to dedicate full time to her stories and poems. When she presented her first result to the lamb, they seemed... almost amused ?. Either way, they let her be and become the cult's full time poet and chronicler. Learning about Kallamar's death was a hard struck on her. She had been aware that sooner or later it would happen, but it did not make the pain any easier in her. She and the rest of his followers mourned his death together, with Baalzebub's way of coping being venting her feelings and grief into paper. Many, many poems lamenting the end of Kallamar and regretting staying quiet about her love over him were born, only to remain locked inside her hut to never be revealed to anyone. When Kallamar was indocrinated, she was ecstatic of having him back. Even if technically he held no authority over her anymore. Still, she was nervous about his reaction to meeting with her and his other former disciples; after all, his younger siblings did not seem happy that theirs had taken the lamb's side and ended up pushing them away. To their shock, Kallamar did not seem surprised that they were now loyal to lamb, not resentful about it. He was very understanding about it, and the former disciples couldn't be more happy about it. They are the lucky ones out of all the disciples, since they are the only ones with a relatively normal relationship with their former master. Maybe... could it be the moment for Baalzebub to finally let what she has been felling for him out ?.
Hello,,
My name is Fatima Alanqar, I am 30 years old, and my husband Bilal Dader is 33. We are parents to five children: Yazan (12), Fadl (11), Zina (10), Rajaa (7), and our baby girl Basma, who is just a year and a half old.
My lovely family

We live in Tal AlHawa, Gaza. In the early days of the war, we were forced to flee our home after it was completely destroyed by occupation forces with fire and missiles. Our car was also burned down to a heap of metal, and all our clothes were burned too. We have been displaced 17 times, each time escaping death by a miracle. We walked long distances on foot with our children who struggled to keep up, driven by fear to escape danger.
After years of effort and construction for our house, then one day and one night everything vanished

My children's mental health has been shattered. They have suffered immensely from fear, displacement, and homelessness, with barely enough food and water to feed a small cat. They have endured carrying water over long distances throughout the day, surrounded by destruction, rockets, and shrapnel. They were deprived of continuing their education, despite being top students.
One of those times when we had to sleep in our previously destroyed house, a missile landed on us and, by God’s grace, it did not explode.

My children have been deprived of the food they love and need for their bodies and minds to grow, enduring constant fear and terror day and night for 10 months without any peace or rest. We also contracted many diseases, including hepatitis and skin infections due to the lack of water and hygiene supplies in overcrowded shelters and sometimes in our destroyed home :( . We were also forced to stay completely still for periods ranging from 3 to 7 days due to the ongoing siege, drinking contaminated water out of fear of the tanks around us.
Our car was not spared from the bombing either

The children's rooms were completely burned...

Some members of my family were martyred, and others were injured. Fear, crying, and sadness fill the place.
We once had all the comforts and basic tools for a decent life, but now we have lost everything. We cook our food over open fires despite the exhaustion and heat, and we barely manage to get flour, water, and firewood. Yet we remain resilient in northern Gaza despite the bombing, hunger, and severe shortages of water, medicine, and necessary supplies.
And now, that's all we have

I was even forced to wean my year-and-a-half-old daughter due to the lack of milk :( .
We are displaced and homeless, continuously moving from one place to another until this dreadful war ends.
My heart breaks for her.... :

We are in desperate need of your help. We invite you to contribute to this fund to save my family and provide us with a safe shelter, food, water, and healthcare for all of us. Hello dear .. Please do not ignore our suffering
My name is Salman Helles from the afflicted and massively destroyed Gaza Strip..
My family consists of many children, women and elderly people and we are suffering from horrific tragic conditions .. Our house was bombed in the northern Gaza Strip and we were displaced to the southern Gaza Strip to Deir al-Balah and the family was scattered in tents and shelters in Deir al-Balah .. The conditions are extremely tragic where children suffer from the spread of diseases among them and the elderly and women in my family suffer from miserable conditions ..

There is no water, food or electricity in the Gaza Strip and the treatment is getting worse day after day ..
For more than 330 days we have been oppressed and wronged in the Gaza Strip and we are exposed to violent barbaric bombing ..
We would never ask for help and donations but the miserable conditions in the Gaza Strip forced us to do so ..

I appeal to the owners of human consciences and free people in this world to provide us with help ..
Your help, no matter how small, means a lot to us because it contributes to saving us and alleviating our suffering ..
Please donate to us or share my campaign On your blog and for your friends
I assure you that my campaign is completely legitimate

Day 4: Darkwood
“She shivered as she looked down at her reflection in the small pond. The head scar she oh-so-much despised was still there, unchanged….. but she can’t say the same about her body.
<W-What happened to my body ?!>. She gasped, unfamiliar yellow eyes starting back at her and open wide…. Her eyes used to be black.
This was not the body she was born with and that had accompanied her over the years. She was a dog, but now…. She looked more like a wolf.
She drowned down a sob that only the eyed flowers stood witness to. Her transformation a sign of how powerless she was and how her life did not belong to her no more”.
A small snippet of a scene from the fanfic. The character shown here will be introduced on Chapter 4, although with a different appearance and personality. What is happening will take place on arc 2 (which we won’t reach in the near future). This puppy will be a relevant character for the plot, although as to why, I can’t say for now…
Hello,,
My name is Malak, I am 18 years old, and I am a medical student. My dream has always been to complete my education and travel abroad to achieve my aspirations. However, the war has destroyed our lives and halted my educational journey. My family and I live in Tal Alhawa, Gaza, and we once had a happy life and a beautiful home.
My little brothers, my support and my beloved ones: Moataz, Moatasem & Fadel.

My dad is Abdelhamid Dader, who used to work at a water station, and my mother is Mona Alanqar. I have siblings named Shahd, Moataz, Moatasem, and Fadel.
Moataz was killed in cold blood. He was a lifeline and a beating heart..

Our house was burned and destroyed, forcing us to move 20 times in different areas in northern Gaza. My father was injured and couldn't receive the necessary treatment due to a lack of medical supplies and the difficulty of travel. My 15-year-old brother Moataz was killed :( by a missile while trying to fetch water, and my younger brother was injured in the same incident and also couldn’t get proper medical care.
Beautiful memories gathered here..

This is what our house has turned into in this nightmare that we are still living.

My father's job ended because of the war and his injury, and his workplace was destroyed. We spent all our savings, and now we cannot provide the basics of life as famine chases us in the north. My mother and younger brother contracted hepatitis due to pollution, poor nutrition, and lack of healthcare. We all suffer from fainting and loss of consciousness due to these diseases and malnutrition.
Part of the life I had in Faculty of Medicine..

Moments of joy in excelling in success and obtaining a 99% average in high school.

Now, we are fighting for a space to sleep among the rubble, and fighting to get water and food.

I appeal to your kind hearts to help me and my family survive this tragedy. My dream is to complete my education abroad, get the necessary treatment for my family, and live a dignified life like other human beings.
Your donation, no matter how small, can change our lives and give us hope for a brighter future. This can help cover the costs of treatment and travel.
Share our story with your friends and family to raise awareness and support.
Pray to God to admit you to Paradise and compensate us with great goodness.. RIP

Your words and prayers give us the strength to endure these difficult circumstances.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us in this hardship. Together, we can make a difference.
Malak and Her Family

Sincerely,
Malak and Her Family
