from the faith-keeper lore entry! this particular piece caught me off guard a bit because i'm not 100% certain what just went on here- like i want to say that it sounds like eido was about to start crying(?), and spider began to backpedal because he felt bad for snapping?

like i want to say spider does, in some way, care about eido and isn't just running on self-preservation alone.

OHHH the crying makes more sense for some reason I thought she was laughing and I was very confused but yeah I feel like knowing Eido and her motivations would make anyone want to just make sure she's good nice and safe watched the season of plunder cutscenes and when Eido went solo to get the last relic I had the biggest ball of anxiety in my stomach so relieved though but it had my instincts going 'YOUNG LADY DON'T DO THAT AGAIN' and I was like man. I got possessed by misraaks destiny 2

The Nine remind me of fish honestly. At least, their aesthetic feels aquatic to me.

Like Xûr has tentacle face, the Emissary has the flow-y ribbons and the patterns on their robes reminds me of scales, when we actually see the Emissary for then to give us the vision of the Drifter we enter a weird plane of existence that has water as a floor, and also Starhorse could be like. A seahorse.

I'd probably have to have a longer think on it and see if there's anything in lore or other Nine instances that are aquatic-ish, but I think it'd be neat. Haven't heard anyone talk about it so there we go.

The Nine's plane of existence is our world where they're just Nine fish in some kinda aquarium thing.

Cayde is lovely and all but like Xur please I would like to know more about him and see more of him he intrigues me like a fun little puzzle but wOOPS BUNGIE ATE THE OTHER PIECES AND NOW I HAVE TO CHASE THEM AROUND THE HOUSE ASKING WHAT'S IN THEIR MOUTH but yes please explain his origins at least or if the Jovians is an entire people or it's simply Xur I think it's the latter because of Nine shenanigans but what if there are more out there? starving over here please
