My evidence is that in KOB, when you crit the dice "explode" and we know that the blowing up is literal, so.....
Also, those buttons on the table that are lit up are definitely not giving 5E energy.
ALSO HEY??? Anyone noticed that car by the Never Stop Blowing Up sign?? The car that is coming out of a cloud of smoke??? A cloud of smoke that looks like it might be associated with a helicopter firing something???? A cloud of smoke that has an orange/red light that looks like an exposion???
Are we looking at some sort of Heist movie scenario?
