You tried to keep up as you walked the trail, ducking and dodging branches. 'Why am I here again?' you thought starting to feel your fatigue slowly building.
It was nearing the end of class when Aizawa sensei randomly announced a surprise four day "field trip" that would take place two days later, and it wasn't an option. We ended up rushing to get our parents permission, and pack up.
You were pulled out of your thoughts as you heard Mina groaning loudly. "FINALLY!" The pink haired girl exclaimed sounding relieved. She had good reason to be, Aizawa Sensei had the entire class take a SIX HOUR hike instead of taking the bus up the very obvious road.
You dragged yourself to the clearing along with the rest of the class toward Aizawa sensei, who some how made it up before all of you. And didn't seem the least bit tired??? After giving the class a few hours to rest, thank goodness, Aizawa sensei stood up to speak.
"I'm glad to see you all made it in one piece, however I can't promise you'll leave that way" Everyone internally groaned at this. "starting today we have survival training" He said with a bored expression.
Iida stepped forward, confused by his teachers statment "With all do respect sir, why would we need that type of training? We'll most likely be working as heros in the city, correct?"
"While that may be true" The teacher said turning to him "we don't want other incidents like the USJ. We don't know the extent of their power, therefore we dont know where or how far they can teleport someone. And it was made clear how much you all are lacking in this type of environment at the training camp"
He continued "None of you are used to fighting in a closed off environment with obstacles everywhere you turn, that's what this training camps main objective is, to get you ready for anything. Today we have survival lessons and tomorrow we work on combat, we'll switch off between the days. That means you have two days to learn how to survive in a forest and two days to learn combat in a forest, good luck"

Everyone sat in silence waiting for their teachers instruction... And by silence I mean bakusqaud was quoting vines while Bakubro yells at them to shut up. (but with more✨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠✨)
Dekusquad was thinking about random strategies they should use if they were ever ambushed (don't jinx it) while also thinking about what they would eat once they get back.
And the rest of the class are sitting in silence minus some mumbling about cold soba and a few poems.
At some point, in the middle of all this, Midoriya decides it's been long enough. "It seems like Aizawa sensei doesn't have any intention of helping us figure out what to do"
"I do believe it's time that we take charge of the situation." Said Iida "yeah but who?" Kirishima asked quizzically
"What do you mean? " Ojiro inquires
"Who should take charge?" You nodded at his answer
"He has a point" You started "It would be to chaotic if we all 'took charge' of ourselves."
"I vote Iida and Momo!" Hagakure beamed "They aren't the class president and vice president for nothing!" she exclaimed, running over to hug Momo's arm.
"Yeah that sounds good"
"I have no qualms with it"
"Yeah"
"I don't see why not"
"I can get behind that"
Mutual agreeance flowed over the crowd of teens in the form of nods and over exclaimed confirmation.
"Okay then" Momo said, sounding slightly nervous.
"ALL RIGHT THEN" exclaimed Iida unconsciously chopping the air, beginning to bark out a few plans and ideas.

You walk through the trees, glancing around at the ground every once in awhile to make sure you're not skipping over any decently sized sticks.
"How many do you have so far?" You yelled out, not in any particular direction.
"Not enough" Momo yelled back, obviously preoccupied with finding sticks big enough for the fire you both were tasked with building. And by fire you mean bonfire, I mean, it is meant for about 22 people.
So you were kind of disappointed when you found out Momo couldn't use her quirk to make your jobs easier since sticks were considered living things.
You continued to walk forward until you came across a log with a few decent sized sticks protruding from the sides. You snapped them off the log, deciding what you had combined was enough, you both quickly started heading back the direction you came, hoping to get back before it gets dark.
Now, listen. The camp was generally pretty big. I mean, it IS meant for 21 students plus 1 teacher. That being said... why couldn't you find it?!?
You DID come from this direction... RIGHT???
Or.. Was it that way....oh no
"Whats wrong?" Momo walked a bit closer, noticing your hesitant steps.
"Oh nothin', just got a bit turned around" Your voice got higher, trying, and failing, to brush off her question
"Wait so...we're lost???"
"Hey! I never said 'lost'...but uh" You cleared your throat "Yes"
And that my friend... Is when panic set in. You'll never be able to graduate or even try to beat Bakugo and his damn near perfect grades!
"Um... Y/N"
Forget about being a hero! You can't even save YOUR SELF! FrOm TrEeS!
"Uhh"
I'll never be able tell her
That.. That is when you made the worst mistake of your life, you looked at her.
And saw Momo's confused, borderline sad face. You had been speaking out loud this whole time.
'Well, I was mumbling what are the chances she ACTUALLY understood what I was saying??? Maybe I could play it off?'
"Tell who what?"
'Dang it!'
You thought you were packing before? Ohh you haven't seen anything yet!
This is the WORST time to confess! It's not romantic AT ALL and your covered head to toe in sweat! And now, you either have to confess your undying love for the girl you and been borderline stalking for MONTHS! Or let her go on believing something that MY NOT EVEN BE TRUE!
You took in a sharp breath. "Well" She gestured for you to continue "There's this girl, she's smart, pretty, nice, well tempered, a good leader, and most likely WAY out of my league... " You had started rambling "A-and I kind of have a massive crush on her... "
With every word Momo's face slowly fell until she was completely looking at the ground
"Well, it sounds like you really like her"
"I do" You looked toward the sky dreamily
'Wait.She doesn't think. She couldn't really. Oh no.. '
You stopped dead in your tracks and turned toward your classmate.
There is NO WAY are you letting the classic: mIsuNDErsTAnDInG tRouPE get in the way of you possibly being able to get a date with the girl you've had a crush on for basically the whole school year!
"Momo Yaoyorozu!" You unintentionally shouted with sudden confidence. She jumped in surprise "You are the most amazing person I have had the pleasure of meeting and will no doubt become an even more amazing Hero"
You paused "I don't want to end this year knowing that I had the chance to have someone so beautiful in my life, possibly forever, and passed it up." You grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes, she was blushing... HARD.
You low key felt proud of yourself. "Momo, YOU are the girl I like. Would you please consider becoming my girlfriend?" You could feel her grip on your hands tighten.
"Do you really think I'm all those things?" She mumbled. "Of course" You answered without thinking, a confused look on your face.
"Strong, stubborn, creative," She spoke softly, gaining confidence with every word.
"good looking, encouraging, and always able to calm down a bad situation while still being able to bring energy into a room just by walking in"
"That's what you are to me." She was now looking you in the eyes. A bright smile on her face. "So when you ask me if I would consider being your girlfriend, the answer is, I already have. And there is nothing I want more"
Your eyes we're now glossed over with tears, but you didn't feel embarrassed because you could see that hers were too.
You both started to lean in and closed your eyes. Soon enough your lips met. It was as if time had stopped. As if the universe itself wanted to sit and appreciate the beautiful and unforgettable moment.
Even when you consider everything that happened that you didn't exactly enjoy. Even though you were still lost and BAKUGOU of all people was sent to find you. That was the most memorable and magical night you had ever experienced as a student of UA.

If you like my work, please be sure to send an ask my way and I'll get to it as soon as possible 😊

Cyan/Izuku Midoriya
Izuku x reader

Summary: Reader has moved to Japan (not specified from where) in order to attend the prestigious UA high school. The first day at their new school doesn't start out too great but eventually their able to make a new friend.
TW: A bit of teasing, not suggestive, mentioned bullying, didn't go into details though, referring to people as quirks, it happens like once but still.
Genre: Fluff, one-shot
1.7k
A/N: I took way too long to make this but on the bright side, I aced my exams! Anyway, I actually got way too invested in the reader's backstory. Don't know if you can tell but I really wanted to go in depth but if I did I'm pretty sure it would have turned out too wordy. I might use these two again, I'm invested in their story lol.
Mornings weren't usually as chaotic as this. No matter how begrudgingly, you would always wake up to your alarm, get ready, and head out the door in a respectable amount of time.
You recently moved to Japan in order attend the prestigious UA high school. Apparently you still weren't used to the time difference. You sprinted all around your apartment frantically grabbing what you could.
Notebooks, textbooks, pencils, pens, maybe a hair brush by accident. You weren't quite sure. You stumbled into your desk grabbing at a cyan journal that read "Quirk Notes" and stuffed it into your school bag. You would hate to leave that the very day you went to meet so many new people.
Once you had everything required for your first day, or more accurately, whatever you could grab on you way out, you bolted out the front door. Running down the stairs of the apartment building, you tried your best not to trip, finally making it to the sidewalk. You started to make your way towards the school, power walking, to keep from running into someone.
Once you arrived at the school you made your way to the classroom, stopping just short of the large and intimidating door. You took a deep breath, not only nervous about meeting so many new people at once but also the punishment that would no doubt take place due to your tardiness.
Not a great first impression.
You opened the door slowly, hoping at the very least you wouldn't interrupt in the middle of a lecture. Once the door was opened just enough to see inside you poked your head in.
'Where's the teacher? ' you asked yourself. You stepped into the classroom warily, but didn't see anyone. Did you come too early? No, you saw other classrooms in session as well as other students rushing through the halls on your way to the much too hard to find class. You walked to the other side of the room, looking out the windows, trying to find the answers to your questions.
The answer seemed to come from a distant explosion.
———
Midoriya was simultaneously on cloud nine and in fear for his life. On one hand he got another chance to see Kacchan's quirk in action during training, even if he isn't fighting the blonde himself. On the other hand Izuku was pretty sure a good 45% of the explosions were sent his way on purpose.
Soon the sparring session was over and in favor of avoiding Bakugo's heated glares Midoriya let his eyes wander around the facility. Towards his classmates, his teacher, and- oh that's new.
A figure stood at the entrance of the facility. They didn't seem to be someone he recognized so he looked to his teacher for assurance that this wasn't a surprise attack from the LOV. Aizawa turned towards their visitor and just sighed. "I suppose you're the new transfer then"
"Um- yes sir" the person replied with a bit of hesitation.
———
Aizawa briefly halted the training session in favor of you to introducing yourself to the class. He asked that you refrain from sharing your quirk, for an extra layer of training you guessed. Even if you wouldn't be able to participate in training today. As punishment for being late you had to sit out and complete a small amount school work that you missed in your absence.
Once the words started to melt together into one giant blob of grammar and numbers, you allowed your eyes to wander over to your classmates, trying to see what quirks you could make out just by looking.
There was one boy who had multiple arms, all connected by a thin layer of skin. Another who had circular shaped elbows that you later learned were some form of tape despencer. There was someone else who seemed to have a quirk that was a tail mutation, he used it well. There was also...floating..gloves? It was a bit hard to see from a distance, you guessed it was an invisibility quirk but there was no way to figure out more that that without getting closer.
Once it was time for the non-hero work related classes you did all you could to learn about every quirk in the room. A creation quirk, a sort of engine based quirk, multiple mutation quirks, and you finally found out what the bird guy's quirk is, who you now know as Tokoyami. You quickly learned who caused the explosions that you saw earlier today, Bakugo, and how, as well as who was able to withstand the detonations, Kirishima.
Soon enough the day was over, and although you weren't able to learn about everyone quirks, you were satisfied.
Outside of school, you didn't have much else planned. When you moved to Japan it was alone, your parents stayed back home, their jobs requiring them to. So seeing as you had a painful amount of free time, you opted to take some time to polish off your observations from the day in your notebook.
You were beginning to regret that decision.
You squinted at the bright pages in annoyance. While, yes, the sun did provide good lighting for your notes, it might have been a bit too good. It was hard to read or write anything when the white of the page jumped at you with a vengeance, causing a slight pain to form behind your eyes. Unable to complete your notes on a boy's, Kaminari you believe, electricity quirk, you had just about given up when a shadow cast over your paper.
Looking up, you were met with a tuft of green hair and a pair of the most beautifully expressive eyes you've ever seen, that only seemed to brighten with every passing second. A pretty and dark green that reminded you of emeralds. Long eyelashes too? damn. Freckles dotted his face, creating swerving constellations. Under his eyes, on his cheeks, down to his chin and– Was his mouth moving? Was he talking? To you? Oh.
As you blinked back into reality you realized that he was in fact talking, just... maybe not to you. Or anyone really. He was just as much in his own world as you were. You smiled a bit, giving yourself a few extra seconds to appreciate the boy as his gaze flicked to and fro, over your notes you realize.
As much as you were enjoying the view, he was starting to lean in a little closer, and if he snapped out of it on his own and realized you were starring, it was bound to get awkward.
"So, are you interested? " The muttering halted. He blinked once. Twice. Then his eyes widened and he turned beet red, more than you thought possible, the red of his cheeks now complementing the dark green of his eyes. Adorable.
So you opted not to back away as he leaned in closer. It gave you a better view of his freckles. Who could blame you?
Sadly, as soon as he became aware of the space, or lack thereof, between the both of you he jumped back as if he had been burned. He quickly apologized, tripping over his words.
Trying not to feel insulted, you give him a reassuring smile, hoping it calms him down even a little. "Woah! It's completely fine! I was just wondering if you had an interest" His apologies broke off into a strained sentence.
"If– If I'm interested? " He tensed and his eyes grew wider, the blush on his face still prominent. "Yeah" you chirped "I've always been interested in quirks myself, but I rarely meet people who appreciate them as much as I do. Usually people only care about their own quirks or don't bother imagining what they could do if they just broadened their point of view. "
He made a little sound reminiscent of an "oh" as he broke the eye contact you were so thoroughly enjoying. His shoulders dropped a bit, but when he looked back to you, his eyes seemed to twinkle with curiosity as well as a bit of something else. You decided to process that later.
"Y–yeah. I like quirks. Well I mean of course I like them. It would be kind of weird if I didn't. Not that someone has to like quirks in order to be normal–" You let out a breath of laughter.
"Don't worry. I get what you mean" huh— you've been smiling a lot during this conversation. "Actually, I'm surprised that a big shot like you is even interested in stuff like this." You teased before continuing, your smile dipping a bit.
"Most times when people hear that someone actually enjoys studying quirks they just stick their nose in the air, assumimg that for a person to be so interested in other people's quirks they must have a pretty weak quirk themselves" You rolled your eyes in exasperation as you thought back to all the lost causes that you had to deal with through school.
"Or no quirk at all"
"Huh? " you hadn't quite heard him.
He seemed surprised that he had said anything at all. "Oh no-nothing! I was just saying that people like that can be tiring to deal with! "
Your smile became a bit strained. The idea of anyone having malicious intent toward this boy gave you a gross feeling in your chest. Yeah, definitely processing that later. Or maybe not. Who knows?
"As much as I'm enjoying this angle, would you like to sit? My neck is starting to hurt" you laughed. He turned red once more, sputtering out apologies. The corner of your mouth quirked up a bit. You decided you liked that look on him.
Before he could go into another spiral, you grabbed a hold of his forearm, briefly appreciating the muscle he no doubt worked hard to build, and pulled him around to sit beside you. His word vomiting had ceased and he had went silent. You looked to his face- a bright red, his lips pressed into a hard line. You couldn't help but smile as you leaned in front of him so you could see him completely. He in turn did everything possible to not look you in the eye.
Maybe your first day wasn't as bad as you thought. You were looking forward to the rest of the school year.
"my goal is to post it by next week"
BIGGEST FAIL EVER
I currently have a Momo x reader in the works and my goal is to post it by next week only because I wanna make it as good as possible! 💜
The color I ended up with is amber and when I think amber I think fire hmmm👀
I relate to him an unhealthy amount :)

Happy Birthday Midoriya❤

Lime/Bakugou Katsuki
Reader keeps anonymously writing Bakubro these kinda cheesy love letters and instead of sealing the envelope the normal way she decides to do it with a lime sticker seeing as it's her favorite fruit/flavor. Bakugo starts paying more attention to his immediate friend group and notices how much Reader likes limes... I guess??
(AN: This could have been so much better. I fixed it! She writes in lime green ink. No matter how weird that is! )
Bakugo Katsuki, even with his horrid temper, was a good student at the end of the day. So he always made sure to arrive at school on time. But lately, he's been coming a lot earlier than usual.
This is because around four weeks ago, Bakugo began to receive letters that were placed inside of his desk. In an effort to keep these letters to himself, he started arriving early to make sure he was the only one to read them. Over time, he had unknowingly grown fond of the letters written in lime green ink, and looked forward to reading them.
Bakugo sat down at his desk and reached inside to receive this weeks letter. He pulled it out, careful not to alert any of the nerds that came to class early. He carefully held up a pastel green envelope. "Whatcha got there kacchan?" Kamanari loudly exclaimed. "It's none of your damn business dunce face!" Bakugo shoved the letter into his school bag before Kaminari could get a good look at it.
"Oh come on Bakugo! Let us have at least one look. " Mina leaned over Kaminari's shoulder with puppy dog eyes. "Pfft, you know those don't work on him." You laughed, enjoying the mood set by your friends. "Well it was worth a shot. " She replied "Good try Mina. Better luck next time. " Sero patted her shoulder in mock remorse on his way to his desk.
"But seriously bro, you've been coming to school earlier than usual for a while now, this is the latest you've been." Kirishima stated whilst settling into his own desk. He was right though, Bakugo would have usually been earlier if that old hag wouldn't of had him to finnish the chores he had forgotten to do the night before. But instead of answering he looked up at Kirishima with a glare. "Okay, okay, just saying. " Kirishima laughed, already used to his friend's heated personality.
While they continued to engage in a conversation that was way too energetic for how early it was, Bakugo once again drifted into his thoughts. He already had an idea that you were the one leaving him the letters.
During the third week of letters Bakugo tried coming into school as early as possible, fighting sleep just to see that you managed to get there, place the letter, and leave before he could even reach the classroom. He did however, notice your lime green pen on the floor of the classroom, even though he saw you using it in the dorms the night before during a study session. Only you would cover you pen in random stickers just so it was more viable in your bag.
Bakugo continued to slip down his train of thought until his eyes once again landed on Y/N, who was participating in the loud conversation of the others but was seemingly distracted.
He followed her gaze to his school bag and noticed the letter peaking out. He shoved the envelope further into his bag. Noticing the letters disappearance she glanced up, making eye contact for a brief second before turning to the front of the classroom. Yeah he'd had enough of this.
Bakugo was starring ... -well more like glaring. He knew he was. He watched as you awkwardly shifted the food around your bowl. The uncomfortable atmosphere spread to the rest of the table, effectively quelling all conversation.
"So" Sero started, dragging on the word, gaining the attention of the others at the table "Are we gonna talk about the obvious tension here or? " The question was directed at Bakugo, but he didn't answer. He kept staring at you, not even registering what was said, or didn't care to.
"I promise whatever it is, I didn't do it. " You said, holding your hands up "well, maybe I did, but-" You were cut off as Bakugo dragged you from the table. You were briefly grateful that you were not seated in between any of your friends and grimaced at the thought of being dragged across their laps, or worse, the table itself.
As Bakugo pulled you through the mostly empty hallways, you couldn't help but to wonder why. Why does he seem so, eager? No. Angry? That didn't fit either. It was an unfamiliar emotion, you couldn't put a name to it. Bakugo slowed his pace to stop he was sure no one had followed. You noticed that he had yet to let go of your hand, but opted to not tell him that, and waited for him to speak.
He didn't properly think this through. In the heat of the moment he dragged you down the hallways because all he could worry about was what would happen if the others we're to find out about the letters. And now here he was standing there like some idiot!
"You okay? " he mumbled, half hoping you wouldn't hear. At some point it clicked in his mind that he had basically dragged you around the school building for a good ten minutes. "I'll live. " you shrugged.
Another beat of silence passed. "Look Bakugo, to be honest I'm not really sure what you're so ticked off about, but whatever it is I'm most likely sorry. "
"That's not it. " he quickly replied, not wanting you to get the wrong idea.
"Then wha-" He shoved your pen into your hands. " How do you have this? " you questioned "You left it in the classroom." "What you you mean? I was using it last ni-"
'Oh, he knows' Your curse in your mind trying to think of any scenario that could convince Bakugo. 'Maybe I can say that one of Koda's animals got into my stuff.'
Bakugo took your silence as a yes
"So it was you. " he said. The way he said it made you feel uneasy, he sounded way too calm. No yelling. No grunting. Just a calm steady voice. "I mean" you paused for a moment "I would like to say no, but at this point denying just drags this on."
"Did you mean it?" He asked, not looking you in the eye. "That denying just drags this on?" "No!" He said gruffly, as if trying to hold back his voice "I mean what you said in the letters. Did you mean it?" He looked up, finally meeting your eyes for a chance get the answer he's been wanting for weeks now.
Over the weeks you had written many letters, most of which didn't even make it to his desk and instead ended up in the trash. You wrote your emotion onto paper because you couldn't properly put it into words. It's not that your bad at expressing your emotions, but every time you try to put it into words they come out all jumbled. This was a chance to win against your nerves. With one simple word, no matter how hard it is to say in the moment.
"YES! "
It was quick, rushed, and your pretty sure your voice cracked. But in this moment, it was perfect. Neither you nor Bakugo know who moved first, but in this moment, he was all you needed. And your lips came together in a graceful dance, well as graceful as it could be with teeth crashing together. But it was beautiful for the both of you. In that very moment.
