Hey There LGBTQ Kids Who Are Also Christian/Jewish! If You Feel Like Youre Disobeying God, Questioning
hey there LGBTQ kids who are also Christian/Jewish! If you feel like you’re disobeying God, questioning your faith, or feel wrong and dirty for loving who you love, there’s this fantastic site I found today called hoperemains that accurately and thoroughly combs through scripture and its (many) mistranslations, validates your orientation, and basically let’s you know that you’re not pissing off God. It’s insanely thorough and after reading through every page on the entire site it’s super helpful. Go check it out!

When a friend texts that they’re going through some shit.

Every book out there had mistakes. Every. Single. one. I have a habit of “correcting” writing while I read, missing words, sentences that could have been constructed differently, everything, I think to myself: “Well I would have done that differently...” The thing is, it doesn’t take away from the story to me - my very favorite books are, honestly, not that well written, and every time I reread, I think “Well darn, that could have been executed better.” Doesn’t stop me from coming back. Again and again and AGAIN. I read them over and over again, and even while part of my brain is noticing the mistakes (That btw wasn’t just overlooked by writers, but editors, publishers, translators etc.) I still get lost in the stories, I get drawn into the universes and come out on the other side feeling just as In-love with the book as the last time. I go out and I tell everyone that THIS is my favorite book, I recommend it, I give it five star reviews, I lend it to (throw it at) friends, give it as gifts...
What I’m trying to say is, I understand your fear, I believe every writer has it, but in the end it won’t matter. There will be people there to help, and even they will miss something, and maybe the readers will notice it, and think about it, but at the end of the day, the story wins out. Good writing is amazing and enjoyable, but it is the story that carries it all. That’s why my favorite books aren’t the ones I enjoy for the writing, but the ones a LOVE for the story. <3
P.S. I hope you win, I’d love to read it!
I’ve realised why this contest is scareing me so much. The idea I might win it. Which is very odd isn’t it?
But the thing is I’m prepared to loose. I’m always prepared to loose. I expect to loose, and model myself aroind the idea of “lol as if” because I can deal with it.
But if I win? My book goes out there. My book goed in to the world. And my name goes with it.
The worls is not kind.
And what if my book goes out in yo the world with mistakes. I once won a poetry contest at my school. The poem was put up on display. I walked past it in the English building about a week later and someone had written all over it.
Spelling and grammer corrections.
And thats the way it stayed till they took it down.

I just realised where Kylo got his name from:
Ky = sKYwalker
Lo = soLO
Ren = literally just his birth name with an R
which means that when he was choosing his super scary Dark Lord name, he just mashed up the surnames of the most positive figures in his life. poor sod can’t even evil right
YOUR DRAGON NAME
last two letters of your first name
middle two letters of your last name
first two letters of your mother’s name
last letter of your father’s name
mine would be Urlelan. Reblog and tag this with yours!
