Sometimes I receive questions regarding white balance. (Making backgrounds white for example.)
Here is a simple technique using Photoshop.
1. Cmd + L 2. Click on White eyedropper 3. Then move over to anywhere on the background and click.
You will see an immediate change. Sometimes you will have to toggle with the colours a little bit, but I find this is effective most of the time.
