Eijiro Had Always Been A Hands On Guy, He Liked Being In Physical Contact With His Friends And Often

Eijiro had always been a hands on guy, he liked being in physical contact with his friends and often even acquaintances. He was trying to get better about touching people, but it was still something he often forgot if he was in a good mood or excited. And he had been in a particularly mood as he headed for lunch, he’d been training with Uraraka and finally gotten down the body slam she’d shown him. 

“Shunmin!” He called happily as he saw the older student, reaching up to clap him on the back, but ending up on the back of his neck instead. Still, he thought nothing of it until the other man reacted.

He reached out and grabbed Shunmin in surprise as the older male went limp, in an attempt to keep him from falling to the ground. But then Shunmin seemed to recover on his own, and Eijiro let go as soon as he was sure the other wouldn’t fall and stared back with wide eyes.  “ Shunmin, I’m sorry! “  

He wasn’t quite sure what he’d done, but it was obviously his fault.  “ Are you okay? “  He looked quickly to his hands, making sure that his quirk hadn’t accidentally activated and cut the older student, before turning his worried gaze back on Shunmin.

Shunmin wasn’t one to often get startled by things. With how often he was awake, he’d grown immune to things that would scare the average person; loud bangs, sudden touches, the like. He had thought this was a known fact amongst his classmates, especially the first years, but apparently it wasn’t.

He heard Kirishima approaching before he saw him and his lips were parting to speak and-

The feeling of a hand on the back of his neck made the older teen immediately fall limp, eyes rolling to the back of his head. It was a practiced action, something he did growing up to prevent others from touching his neck and also used as a defense mechanism. After all, who would want to keep touching his neck if they thought he was dead?

And then he remembered who it was that had been approaching him and his eyes snapped forward, a panicked look crossing his face. “ Kirishima-kun- ”

Himiko was a bit surprised when Shunmin came over next to her, she may have been the only other one in the bar at the moment, but she’d been with the group now and he had yet to do much more than acknowledge her presence. Still, it’s not enough of a surprise to keep her from turning to smile at him. 

“Yamamoto-kun.” She greeted, with a single raised brow. He looked nervous to be talking to her, and she had to admit it was pretty adorable. Himiko debated trying to fluster him on purpose, but decided that it might be too easy to achieve for it to be properly fun. Besides, she didn’t want to scare him off just yet. From what she got our of Kurogiri and Shigaraki it sounded like Shunmin could take the energy from others, and that if he didn’t get enough then he could eventually get hurt. But it also sounded like he’d be the perfect partner to take out when she needed new blood, and he could get his energy while they were at it. She didn’t mind the mess, but it would be easier to take blood at her leisure if the victim was already tired from his quirk.

“Can we be friends now? I thought you were ignoring me and the others. Not that I blame you with Dabi, but I’m not that bad, am I?” Okay, maybe she’d tease and fluster him a bit. She wondered if she could get him to blush!

Shunmin had trouble approaching the other league members that weren’t there from the beginning. He’d grown used to it only being him, Kurogiri, Master, and Shigaraki, with maybe Giran appearing now and again to help them with their support items, but this group now made him nervous. 

The only ones he could find himself pulled towards were Compress and Toga. The girl seemed about his age, kinda nuts, but funny enough. Her thing for blood was kinda amusing, but also terrifying at the same time. She was the only one in the bar at that moment and deciding he wasn’t going to avoid her anymore, their small interactions weren’t enough to develop good company relationship.

Approaching the blonde, he leans down to look at her and smiles, a sheepish little thing.

“ Hey, Toga-chan, ” He hums, his tone showing his awkwardness.
