“Yang! Thanks!” Her enthusiasm was appreciated, though that was the second time that day his door had been burst through. “You could have just opened it you know.” He told her with a laugh. No real harm though, they could always fix it and her excitement to wish him a happy birthday definitely made him feel special.

“What if I paid you what he owes and then he’ll just owe me instead? I see him more often, so it’ll be easier for him to pay me back!” He’s sure Bakugou would have the money he owes her, he hates owing people in general, but this seems like the easiest way to keep an explosive argument from breaking out between his two best friends.

“ c’mon now, don’t be a sore loser! “  kirishima chuckled at his blonde friend, as he caught his breath. with his quirk he could take sparring with yang better than a lot of others, but beating her in a match was still hard won. enough to make him feel proud whenever he did manage it. he was definitely tired, and he knew she had to be feeling it a bit at least too, but there wasn’t time to rest when they were tied.
