  There was nothing but guilt-

A shiver running up his spine as he heard her talk behind him. Kaminari had just came to relay his information and leave as soon as possible. He didn’t want to be there and wanted to be with his friends but-... “You’re not going to hurt any of them-...” Avoiding her question, he stayed staring at the ground.

“- You guys promised if I keep giving you the information...you wouldn’t kill any of them-..”

“It’s just a question silly. You’re so tense!” Himiko poked the other blonde on the back of his shoulder, and sure enough the muscles were rigid. He was always like this, so guilty and meek and scared. It was cute. But he always gave them what they wanted, so really it would save him some trouble if he’d just calm down about it. It was out of his hands now.

“I just wondered. It seems like a hero could kill a bad guy if it was to save someone else right? You’d kill me if you could to save your friends, wouldn’t you?” They all knew that Kaminari didn’t want to be helping them, it would only make sense for him to try to betray them at some point. They just had to keep him adorably scared for as long as they could, so Himiko walked around the boy to face him.

“Light me up before I could carve them all pretty.” The thought brought a smile to her face, though they had promised not to kill any of them, and she supposed he could cling to that empty agreement a little longer. “It’s okay, I don’t mind. I’d kill you too if I wanted.” She reassured him. “But I don’t want to yet, you’re too sweet!”

    “I haven’t, not yet-”

Kaminaris voice was also quiet and he wasn’t even looking a his friend. He had just relayed information to the league not long ago, sneaking out at night with the others help, covering for him just in case anyone came asking questions-…they knew what they had to do if questions were asked.

Looking over finally, he gave the smallest of reassuring smiles “I don’t like waiting either but it shouldn’t be long now…be patient”

Chargcbolt:

“Okay...”

It’s hard to know whether he should be relieved or not. He should probably try to let it go for now, like Kaminari suggests. Their classmates could usually tell when he was stressed, and Kaminari would let him know as soon as anything changed anyway. But it was easier said than done.

“Yeah. You’re right.”  Sharp teeth worry at his bottom lip. “Uh.. do you want to play a game or watch something? I don’t think I’ll be able to get to sleep.” He doesn’t think about what it would mean if Kaminari was betraying everyone willingly or maliciously. If that’s the case he’d rather not know. Coward. He can’t do this alone.

Main. verse i

Follows canon.

Traitor AU. verse ii

This follows along with the popular fan theory along with my own take/elaboration on the idea.

It all starts with his father. Denki Kaminari’s father is a villain, this is something he’s told no one, and since his father isn’t famous and is still at large, it’s something he’s been able to avoid. But in the limited time Denki has spent with his father, he has learned some very important things. The most relevant of which, is that the system is rigged, and the heroes aren’t always the good guys they make themselves out to be. As many things do, it had started with good intentions. Denki wanted to show his father that things could change, that he could be a hero following the true definition. However, in studying heroes and villains, it became harder and harder to deny that his father was right. Things needed to change. He met Giran through his father and was introduced to the League of Villains while he was already in the process of being accepted to UA. This put him in a valuable position, and while he is hesitant, he is sure that this will be for the best in the long run. Stain was someone Denki kept tabs on and he does adhere to Stain’s ideals, more so than Shigaraki’s, like a few other members of the League of Villains. Telling his classmates that he thought the video was cool, was a slip up, he was just really inspired and let it get the best of him.

Kaminari jammed the signal at the USJ himself, and used the communication abilities that come from his quirk to let the League of Villains know of the camp location. Kaminari also uses the communications aspect of his quirk to report to LoV, listen in on phone calls, and he has regular access to the phones of classmates who ask him to charge them.  It is still possible for Kaminari’s quirk to fry his brain, but he has more control and tolerance with it than he lets on.  Kaminari is also smarter than he lets on, though his failure of the midterm is a result of not studying properly, he is still a teenager and this double life thing is stressful. He got lucky when he was still able to attend camp so that he could deliver the location, and has tried to be more careful to scrape by grade wise while keeping up his unbothered persona.  There is guilt involved in this for him, even though he thinks his actions are for the greater good. He doesn’t want to hurt his classmates, but feels that the system has to be changed.

💖💔 for each muse~

Questions for the mun!

💖 - What’s something you like about your muse?

💔 - What’s something you dislike about your muse?

Todoroki

I’ll admit, what drew me to him was the angst factor and family issues. That is the quickest way to ensure I’ll love a character. But, I like that he isn’t letting his past hold him back. It took a little help, but that’s to be expected.

On the subject of help though, he really doesn’t know how to ask for it. Now this makes sense of course, and I don’t know if I’d say it’s really something I dislike about him, but he could make things so much easier for himself.

Kirishima

He is just such a good guy! He cares so much about his friends and being manly in a non-toxic way!! And I just love him.

He unironically likes Crocs and wears socks with sandals. He thinks it’s comfy, I think it’s an abomination.

Kaminari

He’s another one who really keeps the class together, and I love how supportive he is of his friends.  He’s quick to compliment and trusts them all to do their best and succeed!

He’s got a little bit of perverse tendencies. But I can’t complain too much, he’s a teenage boy and he knows not to take things too far or actually act on any of those things unlike a purple friend of his.

Toga

She’s very passionate! Underneath everything, I do think she just wants people to be her friend and care about her as she is. She just wasn’t really allowed to express herself growing up, and as a result, she didn’t learn ways to cope or handle her emotions.

I mean, she is a villain, and regularly kills people. If she were real, she’d scare me. But as a character, I don’t mind too much!
