      Bakugo’s capture by the league of villains was a bruise on his ego. It was due to his capture that All-Might had to retire. In a lot of ways, he blamed himself for not being strong enough when it counted most. So he didn’t look too kindly upon his abductors. That included the blonde chick with the fangs. The moment he heard her voice, his shoulders tensed.

      The nickname the Villain had given Bakugou was too friendly. Especially for someone he despised. “Don’t call me that you useless Bunhead!” He hissed. Fingers form a fist as she continued to talk. “Tch,” It was evident he was annoyed. It was because she was right; there were too many innocent civilians. “Fine, whatever. What the hell do you want scum?”

      They say ask, and you shall receive, now Bakugo wished he hadn’t asked. Did she miss him? What the hell? He hadn’t even interacted with her much doing his capture. What an absolute weirdo. Her missing him made absolutely no sense. “What are you after? Don’t lie to me.” The tone in his voice, harsh. “I already told you I’m not interested in joining a pack of whiney losers.”

Himiko could see the exact moment that he recognized her voice, smiling pleasantly at the way he tensed in response. It encouraged her more than anything, managing to get a response out of someone simply by being with them. As expected, Bakugou made it clear that he wasn’t happy to see her, but she just giggled and poked the buns on her head. 

“I don’t think we’re all that whiny. Maybe Dabi and Shi a little bit. But they do have it hard.” Himiko paused to take a sip of her drink from the boba shop, lips closing around the red straw as she watched him. She wasn’t sure why she had to have a reason to want to see him, Maybe that was the problem was heroes, always overthinking things. If they wanted to do something, they should. Though she didn’t think Bakugou had that problem as much as many of the others.

“What am I after... Hmmmm...”  Apparently missing him hadn’t been answer enough, so she’d need to reword it, make it more clear.  “We didn’t get to know each other well while you stayed with us. You left so soon. I think we could be great friends. And friends talk don’t they? Why don’t you sit with me?” She gestured to the small table she’d been sitting at before he walked past. “You’re living on campus now aren’t you? How’s that been? And how is All Might, he looks kinda sick now, doesn’t he? Hope he’s doing okay.”

Eijiro Kirishima is a victim of circumstance. He grew up in close quarters with criminals, but still spent his childhood revering Crimson Riot and wanting to become a hero himself. The experience he has with low class criminals and villains contributes to his hesitation when it comes to villains before he enters UA, he knows what they’re capable of. But this hesitation not only makes him feel weak and cowardly as we see in his arc, it also makes him doubt that he’ll be able to leave the crowd he’s surrounded by. This is a part of his life that he keeps secret, and it is also the reason behind the level of empathy he has shown with villains he has fought. His run-in with the villain in middle school and seeing Mina step up along with the interview with Crimson Riot still inspired him to pursue his dream of becoming a hero and entering UA. But it wasn’t long after his acceptance that Kirishima’s uncle used his nephews unique position as leverage to raise himself up in the villain ranks. This is where Kirishima’s involvement with the League of Villains begins.

It is quickly decided that Eijiro’s uncle is not needed as an intermediary, and he is killed in front of Eijiro. After this, he gives the League information solely out of fear, telling them about the USJ assignment as well as the location of the camp. However, while he knew the League was interested in Bakugou, he did not expect them to take him during camp. His guilt leads to his adamancy about saving Bakugou, and after the dorms are put in place, he tries to distance himself from the League and tries to give as little information as possible. They can tell he’s pulling away, and continue to string him along with threats of harm to his classmates or himself. But Kirishima is beginning to wonder if there is a way out of this for him, and if he’d rather die than continue betraying UA and his friends.
