The Sexuality Isnt Actually Who You ARE Its About What You DO And How You Interact With Other People.

The “sexuality isn’t actually who you ARE it’s about what you DO and how you interact with other people. I am very smart” takes are annoying to me because. Even if I never touched another man in my entire life, if I never spoke to another man or even looked at one, I would still be a gay man. If I woke up tomorrow and every other man on earth had vanished I would still be a gay man… because I am a man who is only attracted to men.

Even if I tried to act as straight as possible and tried to interact with women the way a straight man would… nothing would change. Are you saying that closeted, “straight-acting” gay men are not actually gay? Do you realize that trying to come off as an average heterosexual to the world for a part of life (usually through childhood and adolescence, but in many cases for much longer) is a survival tactic for a huge percentage of queer people? Please be fucking for real

the purplish jay is a medium-sized member of the corvid family found in portions of south america (bolivia, brazil, colombia, ecuador, guyana, and peru). like other jays, these birds are noisy and social, and often travel in loud groups through the forest canopy. they prefer tropical & subtropical lowland forest habitats. they are named for their distinctive purple-blue color. like other jays, they are omnivorous, and feed on everything from fruits and insects to small reptiles and eggs.

I didn’t have a regular period for years because I was very sick. I don’t like cramps ofc, but my period is my body telling me I’m healthy. I love it. I think it’s wonderful. Too many women tell me they wished they could’ve skipped their period for as long as I did, and honestly it’s just sad and disheartening. I’m with you. You don’t have to hate your period. It’s not a death sentence, it’s a celebration of your life.

I don’t begrudge women who don’t like their period, but I do find it a little aggravating when I’m not believed that I don’t hate my period. no, not even when I’m in pain. no, not even when I make a mess. it’s just like, whatever to me. and I know some women have just the worst periods imaginable, like truly debilitating. I’m lucky I don’t have that, I probably have the most normal period possible all things considered. and still I’m just not believed. it’s assumed you hate having a period and hate getting it and it makes you feel useless and disgusting. and that you’re just being annoying on purpose when you say “eh I don’t mind it. It’s not so bad.” you really don’t have to hate it, it’s not a prerequisite. you’re not crazy if you don’t hate it. it’s like any of my other bodily functions and frankly some of those other ones suck worse and happen more often so. you know. that’s how I see it.
