This Is My First Post! Hello World! I Would Like To Know Other People's Opinions On This Subject But

This is my first post! Hello world! I would like to know other people's opinions on this subject but before I start I want to say three things

1. This post is made not out of hate purely curiosity and to spark discussion

2. If you know me this is not targeted at you this is just a general thing

3. Art is up to interpretation and I just want to share how I interpret it

So here we go...

radiohead are not depressing

Again this is purely my opinion and my view...allow me to explain my point of view. I do find certain radiohead songs to be melancholic and "depressing" of course there is sad songs but the idea that the whole band is inherently "depressing" is close minded I heavily disagree with pigeonholing there whole vast and heavily experimental discography into one idea. Personally when I listen to radiohead rather then feeling down defeated and depressed I feel the exact opposite I feel hopeful I feel calm I feel like I'm accending almost. I can remember going to a radiohead tribute band and there were so many times I felt like my heart was glowing my soul lighting up the music just speaks so much to me it feels like my brain and body and soul is so interlinked to the sound it's such a beautiful and brilliant experience and so when a band that bring you so much peace and joy and wide range of emotions is dumbed down to moany depressing downer music it is incredibly frustrating though I never find myself frustrated at that person rather at the situation I just wish people could see what I see I really wish I could meet someone who thought likewise to me but sorry I'm going off track abit what I meant to say was if you do find radiohead "depressing" I'm interested to know why and I want to understand what is inherently depressing in them (again this is about people who find there entire discography depressing or atleast most of it)

A short story I wrote I'm not sure whether it is alright or total garbage but I hope it can bring you some sort of thought.

As the teacher read off the seating plan I was alerted that I was to sit next to a girl called amelia in which I complied. amelia was never someone I was particularly close to I had never really thought of her she just was she existed and I was aware of her. The teacher pulled up the PowerPoint I wasn't focused on it not that there was anything I had to take my mind off it christmas was ages away and summer was long gone. Someone glared at someone from across the classroom but no one really had there eyes on anything but the bell but the bell didn't ring instead there was an alarm. The alarm wasn't familiar not like the ones you set to tell you to go check on the oven no it wasn't like that you see the oven alarm is to remind you of the future tucking into nice warm food with your family but in the case of this alarm there was to be no future at all. I had never cared for amelia but when death stares directly at you you will look at anything apart from it so I looked at amelia she was a nice girl and she always would stay out of everyone's ways unlike her brothers they were mean and rude to almost every innocent person they saw I always wondered how a girl so nice could come from a home so full of hate I suppose she had seen the hate and decided she would be better then that. Around the classroom kids were clinging onto eachother tightly even the kids who once glared at eachother were huddled together it's strange in a way it had brought people and for a second all the conflict and grudges had evaporated but there wasn't enough love in that room to prevent what was coming no there would never be enough love in that room not anymore atleast. I had never cared for amelia not until now I looked into her eyes seeing her story a million tales of heartbreak and love cold winters with hot chocolates and hot summers spent round pools friends and enemies universes her eyes were almost like an abstract concept I was infatuated with her and I went to reach my hand out to touch her but then her soft skin became full of blisters then erupted into flames and then she was gone and so was I.

Did you know the characters from the paranoid android music video are from a Swedish cartoon called Robin (which is the name of the main character) I recommend watching the show even though it might not have aged well its still quite fun to watch! ^^
