The Israeli Vice-Mayor of Jerusalem, who was also a part of the “Death to Arabs” march that happened earlier this month, hasn’t only made fun of a Palestinian civilian limping after being shoot by an Israeli solider and telling him that it was a pity that he he didn’t get shot in the head (and he of course said that in public infront of multiple cameras, because he knows that there will be no repercussion when it comes to harming/humiliating Palestinians) but he has also tweeted a picture of a dead Palestinian teenager on the ground with the caption “that’s how I like to see them.”
I’m not going to post the tweet because it’s hard to look at, but it’s here if you want to see it. The tweet has been up for an entire day so far without being deleted, despite it violating most Twitter’s rules, meanwhile thousands of people across all social media are getting their accounts and posts deleted or hidden in just a few minutes after posting anything remotely related to the violence Palestinians are facing in Shiekh Jarrah right now.
THIS is their literal government.
This isn’t a conflict between two groups, this is a one-sided occupation, modern-colonialism and state-sponsored terrorism.
this is your not so friendly reminder that Gal Gadot has openly supported the IDF and posted a picture with the hashtags “we are right” and “I love the IDF” following a bombing of Gaza that left innocent Palestinians - including children - dead.
She directly and openly supports a genocidal state that oppresses and strips rights away from Palestinians on a daily basis.
So fuck her, fuck her “I want my neighbors to be safe” narrative that is simply untrue based on her past actions, and fuck white feminists for trying to paint her as this “girlboss!!!!!!” because she plays Wonder Woman.

Aaaand sign off. Mainstream Western media, Ladies and Gentlemen. Believe it or not, this reporter was actually somewhat professional by the typical standards we see from channels like CNN. I’ve seen much worse.
Watch the full interview here: https://www.instagram.com/p/COuuzG1l_yj/
Kurd’s comment on the interview: “I knew this interview was going to have a biased, inaccurate framing, and it did from the start. But I made sure I course corrected. I’m happy that you cannot edit a live interview, because there’s no way I could have spoken so bluntly about the myth of “both sides” and Israeli “self-defense” had this been prerecorded. Thanks CNN for taking my testimony about settler-colonialism.“

Here are some backups (sadly in bits only), since some social media - like Instagram, conveniently deletes some posts about what’s happening in Palestine.

3.8 billion dollars per annum are funded by the US every year for this ethnic cleansing, genocide of Palestinian people by the Israel government.

If you refer to Palestinians in Israel as "Arabs", you are helping to promote Israel's narrative that we are a homogenous, interchangeable, monolithic people. It erases our identity and our history and ties to our land.
Palestinian citizens of Israel are still Palestinian.
With this in mind, you'll start to notice that Israel will always refer to us as Arabs when discussing anything about Palestinian life in Israel, how "inclusive" they are, how "good the Arabs have it" and suddenly call us Palestinian when speaking about "terrorism" and "violence".
They only bring up our identity to conflate us with terror and promote the narrative that we are an inherently violent, antisemitic people. It is all part of their campaign to erase us.
Don't fall for it. Don't propogate it. Call it out when you see it.
