I wish I hadn't been socialized to think that smooth legs are sexy. I wish I hadn't grown up trading stories with friends about the best ways to get absolutely baby smooth legs in the summer. I wish every magazine I've ever read hadn't shown me models with hairless legs and underarms and Brazilian waxes. I wish my friends hadn't asked with shock "you don't shave your bikini area?!" in tenth grade, while we changing in the same room. I wish I hadn't immediately conformed to meet that expectation. I wish that every swimsuit I looked at online wasn't on a body hairless model. And while I hate the idea that women's worth is equated with their looks, I still wish someone had told me that body hair is beautiful.

Basically, if you think cilantro is bitter and awful, its not your fault. Cilantro does not taste like that to the rest of us and I am very sorry that your genetics prevent you from experiencing it's deliciousness.
