Poor Fredo
"Hagen nodded. “OK, Clemenza and I will go over all the people and put together a group to do the Vegas job. Do you want me to call Freddie home for few days?” The Don shook his head. He said cruelly, “What for? My wife can still cook our meals. "Let him stay out there.”

I just noticed how ominous the clouds/mist look.
Till’s voice is deeper than the gaping hole in my bank account.
If I saw some villagers in a remote place, feasting and dancing around a maypole, the last thing I’d do is join them, because you know someone is going to be sacrificed and it’s always the newcomer. These priests have obviously never seen The Wicker Man/Midsommer.
The shot of the sacrificial ram foretelling Till’s fate always gives me chills. I am such a sucker for biblical references even as an ardent atheist. It’s the lapsed Catholic in me.
Richard cackling like he’s taking over the world instead of just scoring some free food and wine. He’s the eternal drama queen and I love him for it.
I love how much Till is obviously enjoying the food. I don’t think he’s even acting here. That man lives to eat.
It still bothers me that she’s so young. Was that because her parents are a big part of the storyline? She does a great job but it’s still a little weird.
Richard flagellating himself like “Oh god. The Pain! *It burns! It burns us! and Till’s all “Just another day at the office” I wonder!*Whack* what’s for *whack* dinner? *Whack Whack* Maybe Flake*Whack* will let me *Whack* have his leftovers.*Whack Whack*
Personally I’m team Richard here. Why the hell would you willingly do that to yourself?
When Richard is sitting smoking, if you listen very carefully you can still hear the sirens of the ambulance heading to hospital with the unfortunate assistant who tried to remove the cigarette from his mouth. Oli and Paul praying that they don’t have to face yet another lawsuit.
Knowing Till this was probably the most courteous stabbing ever. He might murder you, but he’ll return in the morning to tidy up and feed your cat.
I love how everything is blood red here. The house practically screams murder before she does.
Till is adorable here. So soft and so proud of himself. Even though he's a murderer the way his expression falls as he realises what is happening, is heartbreaking. He really is a human teddy bear.
Paul runs like he’s running for a bus that he doesn’t really want to catch because he’d rather take an Uber.
Why can’t I find a Till under my bed for once, instead of yet more dust bunnies?
The way Till screams in terror here is so convincing. I remember him saying that when he was young he saw a man being beaten almost to death by an angry mob. I wonder if this video brought that memory back?
They’re so casual about killing him. It’s more chilling for me than Till’s murder scenes, particularly because some of those people were his friends, yet they are so cold and callous about it.
Paul is right. Schneider really does have some great, very evocative expressions.
The contrast between the horses grazing peacefully and the still smoking remains of Till makes the ending all the more horrifying.
I wonder why only Paul glances back?

This one always makes me cry so this will probably be typed through a waterfall of tears.
The percussion effect of this pyro is so damn powerful. You feel it right in the chest even through a screen. So is the wall of sound that the guitarists are creating but for me the highlights here are Till’s quasi operatic vocals and Schneider’s incredible drumming.
I don’t know who Paul is laughing at but it’s precious. Even though there’s so much more to him I can see why he’s sometimes known as Sunshine Paul.
I give the band most of the of credit and rightfully so as it’s their show but sometimes it’s nice to step back and look at the work of the crew and the lighting here is just breathtaking. The stage looks caught halfway between heaven and hell.
The lyrics are even more poignant when you know that Till is really talking about himself. It breaks my heart every time I remember that and how poor his self image can be.
Mein Teil
I love the slow sinister walk towards each other before hitting you with that incredible riff.
That cauldron looks so incredibly heavy, I remember Flake saying that he doesn’t know how Till can pull it.
He genuinely looks deranged here.
It always amazes me how much trust and skill it takes for Flake and Till to make this stunt work. I don’t think I could ever trust anyone that much.
It’s strange to see how stripped down this version is compared to later Mein Teil performances. It’s still great but personally of the two on this dvd I prefer the performance in Japan.
Stein um Stein
I’m spending the whole concert claiming every song as my favourite. They can’t all be my favourite of course but this is the ultimate Rammstein dvd for me. Reise Reise era and album are my favourite and as much as I love every album, for me they’ll never produce anything better.
This is a great example of why I love that album so much.Every time I listen to SUS it makes me just as emotional as the first time. It never loses its power.
This is why I love Till as a frontman so much. He uses his whole body to express his emotions. He doesn’t just sing it. He lives it. He seems to become almost possessed by the characters he plays at times. He can be that convincing(Deutschland to name but one example)
That high pitched little sob breaks me.
I love how delicate his movements can be sometimes.
That screaming guitar will be the end of me.
Los
It’s such a good feeling when you see bandmembers are having as much as fun as the crowd.
This is one of their songs that’s 100x better live. I like the album version but it’s so discordant that I don’t listen to it as often as I should. Also it’s so much fun watching them come together like this.
I love Flake’s attempt at a Schuhplattler dance. It’s like watching a spider trying to cross an electrified floor.
This is the perfect Fuck You to their critics. I’m so proud of them.
The harmonica part always makes me laugh though I love it. Could they possibly have gotten him a smaller instrument? It looks ridiculous lost in those enormous hands of his.
Adorable Flake Oli moment. My heart.
I live for Till dominating Flake though sometimes I wish that they’d bring back their Feuerrader routine.
Du Riechst so Gut
If there’s ever a statue of Till I want it to be in this pose. Him standing holding the firebow with one leg raised. I have a thing for hunter/archer Till.
No offence to Prince but I’m always so happy to hear Der Wahnsinn instead of Sexy Motherfucker. That quickly got old for me.
Synchronised headbanging. More of this please. It looks so powerful when they do it together.
I still think that these are some of Till’s best lyrics.
I love his little bounce.
I don’t have a name for those flame arm thingies but they’re such a great effect.
The zombie pose makes him look genuinely sinister, especially with the way he spits like a hissing cobra. What is it with me and Till expelling saliva? He just does it so well.
Please never take this song off the setlist or I will cry A lot. Almost as much as the people who are unfortunate enough to have suffered my ramblings here.
Did Sollozzo ever give Tom Hagen his sled back? I need to know!
If anyone needs me, I'll be here crying over how much I love Tom Hagen.
