Random thoughts on The Godfather, other movies and anything else that I love. I'm not witty so this is purely for my own entertainment. A place for me to ramble, liveblog and generally release my inner fangirl.

He was perfect for this role. His final scene was so powerful. One of my favourites from the entire trilogy.

Poor Fredo

"Hagen nodded. “OK, Clemenza and I will go over all the people and put together a group to do the Vegas job. Do you want me to call Freddie home for few days?” The Don shook his head. He said cruelly, “What for? My wife can still cook our meals. "Let him stay out there.”

I'm going to be liveblogging Volkerball tonight so if anyone wants to block it my tag is RRTBlogs. I’ll probably do it in two parts because it’s long and I want to cover the bonus songs.

I have a lot of feelings over this.

Tom Hagen is quite literally treated as a freak by the other families at the meeting because he's a non-Sicilian Consigliere. He's much younger and less experienced than the others who share his position and in spite of being the most educated man in the room, he's given no respect whatsoever, yet he still does his job well and attends to Vito perfectly with class and dignity.
