so basically it follows 2 teens that do dumb shit. There's Rowan, the unpredictable rebellious kid and then there's Fern, a well behaved nerd. They're best friends (or more✨✨). Feel free to draw fanart of them if you wanna. I will post more stuff whenever I can.

So Fern canonically is in a family that lives a very naturey lifestyle which explains the fairy grunge type style but yeah his parents are against buying clothes from mainstream clothing shops but they also don't stop Fern because they don't want him getting bullied. Fern still goes barefoot though to still kinda keep the lifestyle they've grew up with. If I'm misinformed please correct me on the crunchy lifestyle. That's canonically the lifestyle Fern's family lives.
