Aaron Bushnell died. The active duty US soldier who self immolated in front of the Israeli embassy died of his wounds - he died screaming “Free Palestine” as he burned. He said he no longer wanted to be complicit in genocide. This is the second person to self immolate because of Palestinian Genocide and I hope his story doesn’t get swept under the rug like the first.

Here's another campaign I trust, I spoke with the woman behind it for a while. Her name is Mona Abu Hamda, she's been using donations received through paypal to buy food and other necessities for people in Rafah, today she distributed water for 1000 people for free thanks to the donations! I'm very very impressed with this initiative and this woman.

i like sanrio too but palestine is more important. a boycot shouldn't be comfortable and you are GOING to have to give some stuff up. yes even things you care about. people are dying and if you actually care about like a plushie more than people's lives, the culture and history of palestine, and so much more then i don't know what to say to you. boycott sanrio or shut up. you people will do anything to justify how you NEED to support the cute thing, actually!

Bleeding Heart

I'm a bleeding heart, it's in my DNA, and I can't help but feel sympathy and empathy for all the people I see come to harm by others. I don't keep up with the news all that much, I don't even have a Twitter, but seeing everything that goes on in the world breaks my heart. I want to help, give aid.

I feel guilty for being lucky.

I don't think my heart will stop bleeding, even when I'm gone and turned to dust. People are people. I may not agree with you, you may hate me for just existing, but people are people and I respect those who I can have a debate with and challenge me intellectually.

My heart goes out to Gaza, trans and nonbinary/genderfluid people, bipoc, the disabled, anyone who has suffered greatly, and all I want is for them to get to a better place.
