my brain is still a bit [dial up sfx] rn but i'll be back to normal tomorrow. in the meantime i'm thinking of henry's whole thing with "family". i think i mentioned it in my one long post but in my opinion he views family as like... a bargaining chip, something that every animal and person looks for but something that means relatively little to him comparatively. he's above that. he doesn't need to rely on people. it only wounded him and clearly anyone who still counts on others instead of their own logic is just foolish. animalistic. primal. so he calls william "family" and pushes this idea of family, but then when dave actually wants to be family (in a true, human sense rather than just as an abstract concept), henry grows disgusted and infuriated. because the idea of family is beneath him. or at least he thinks it is
friendly reminder to everybody that henry WAS canonically bisexual until you guys (staring at some of you) bullied directdogman into taking the post down...
and another friendly reminder that bi erasure is not okay and that we shouldn't literally be getting mad at people for making THEIR CHARACTERS a certain sexuality!!
