Right so, ya know mermaids? Seeing as theyre underwater creatures I'd imagine theyd have gills and the mouth is for eating only. So, why the nose? What's it for?
This leaves us with 2 possibilities
1. The nose is shaped differently to work as a gill
2. Mermaids have no noses
And both of these possibilities points to one shocking truth the world is not ready for
