I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. #Fireworks
The issue with fireworks is that some people are not aware or simply just forget that fireworks have a huge negative affect on wildlife and even on domestic animals. Especially when living in the countryside. Our dogs for example get crazy, act completely irrational and even endanger themselves.
Fireworks greatly disturb wildlife around here, cause fear, stress and anxiety to poor animals. They panic, abandon their nests, burrows, logs, trees and flee their natural environment leaving their young behind without any chances to survive on their own. Also fireworks are always of course, initiated at night when birds can’t fly. Why can’t they fly? Because they just don’t see in the dark. So they’re panicking; flying around and don’t know where to land, get short of breath, hit trees or buildings, have heart attacks to finally die and fall down on the ground.
That is very, but very cruel.
It does not only happen in my countryside but also in cities everywhere around the World.
So before initiating fireworks people, please have a special attention of what’s living around you.
It happened before, it still happening and will happen again.

More Posts from Ravensvalley
#WildAndFree
... sure I've seen many Ravens posts lately, surfing around here and there, but most of them are sad to me. Some of them even wear leather blind hood that covers the eyes and/or straps on their paws to make sure they don't go to far and they sleep alone in a cage. Their lives are confined and they are not free to come and go as it should be. Ravens need to be free and not in captivity. So yes, it is sad to me.
Unrestrained Ravens are able to waltz up in the air with their lifemates simply to enjoy the sky when they're happy. They can actively hunt together every day with their sibling and call each other for a big bonanza fest when food is found. At the end of the day they are all able to sleep together in the tallest spruce dominating an entire valley.
Ravens are also best known to have the habit to visit regularly their parents over the years to enjoy some group activities. Can you imaging what a joy that must be for them to see each other's growing families every year.
... so yes. Ravens should always be free. As it should be.

#MidweekMurderTerm
Hey guys! Hope your week is going well so far. Today I am a bit irritated. Why?
Because some people around here have the habits to relate to the "Midweek Murder" term for Ravens and Crows. I mean, why? Is it only because it sounds cool? They are not "Murderers" at all. They only eat "road kills"; what has been "killed" by Humans and left on the side roads. So who are the murderers?
Ravens and Crows are not even Predator birds but are in fact Passerine birds. A huge fucking difference.
So, from now on I will unfollow anyone who will use that stupid term and I don't care who it might be even if I appreciate very much his or her company here on Tumblr. Because I've been living around Ravens for years and for me it hurts; I love them. It's not very hard to understand, it is like a father defending his own son from the neighbor calling him a "moron" because he looks like one but actually he's a very smart kid.
Btw, I didn't find any concrete information on the web that gives valuable reasons to associate this term to them.
Anyway, big thank you to everyone for taking some of your precious time to read my posts and, as usual, have a wonderful upcoming weekend folks. I love you all.
So it is that time/period once again.

#RavenScent
You know Ravens have a distinguished particular odor like dogs have, which everyone enjoy so much; so…
During the nesting period, Diane has to leave us for about 5 weeks and Jack, her life partner, has to provide her with all the food that she needs while incubating the eggs.
I love them both but Diane is the first one I’ve meet and the bond between us is strong. During that period I really miss her.
So what I do is just open this big jar, which is full of their body feathers, which I’ve picked up from time to time, and take a big smell out of it.
And if you have no idea what the smell of a Raven is? Well it’s like an amazing “méchoui” roasted outside over a wood fire; or like some kind of aromatic incense fragrance smoked like “Nuit d'Opium”.
#MakeTumblrGreatAgain
...for most people the blogging material must be "perfect" to their own eyes otherwise they'll never give a simple "note" just for the effort, support, cheering up or encourage those who try to participate.
To be part of Tumblr's Community.

#TumblrCommunity
I see many talented photographers, painters, artists and other people that gave up on Tumblr’s community saying that it’s not, worth it. Saying that they “need a break”, shut down their accounts or simply stop posting and leave everything there.
We all know perfectly why they turned their backs on the community. Simply for the lack of support/respect/encouragement towards their material. Most of them just don’t receive what they really deserve for it.
That is extremely sad cause these people possess great material that at the end is lost. I know that most of you care about it and some of you don’t. So I’m not saying to give petty reactions to other posts but, if we all want to keep an healthy community of bloggers, when the work is clearly visible behind the material well, some support can be rewarded and finally worth it for everyone.
