I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. #WildlifeNeedProtection
So during Winter Seasons the food for Ravens around here is scarce and If you want to know why we help some of them to survive, well just listen to that video. Now you can’t see them in this video, but we did; so we know. And btw you need to pump up the volume.
It is the sound of a juvenile who’s extremely hungry, that has made a small come back in the valley asking “If I can say” for a little help from his father to get something to eat. And juveniles know that parents have a good connection for food. Us.
That is no fucking joke folks; the poor bird is so hungry that he has practically lost is voice.
Of course juvenile Ravens have been raised to never ask or accept food from humans. But we have gain 100% trust from Jack and Diane therefore they came to us for a little help. So we did provide that help.
((Northern Ravens “Les Grand Corbeaux Canadiens” are protected by the Canadian Law and somehow, when it’s possible, it is kind of our duty to provide any assistance that these birds may need))
A couple of minutes later the juvenile ate the food (that we provided) from their parents and went back to his own territory with a stomach full.
#DownyWoodpecker
Stumbled on this bran-new little Downy on my way to lunch.
Easy to come to the conclusion that this adorable Downy Woodpecker is in his first year of life. His belly is all white, without any stain from trees yet, and also while approaching the end of Winter Season he should be less slender. Meaning that our friend here has been well fed by his parent last Summer.
So long life to our new little friend Downy.

Mountainous Parts of the Northern Hemisphere. March 10, 2023.
Seriously, everybody knows that the planet is really warming up. But hey!
During last Summer we had over 300 wildfires in Canada that were devastating forests, fueled by thousand of lightning strike burning houses, establishments, nature, including wildlife.
While Winters are getting more and more intense with unbelievable amount of snow accompanied with unbearable cold temperatures, like -37C with a windshield of -47C, most wildlife around here can't handle it. So humanity most wake up, now.
…yes!, Climate change!

#RavensDeserveRespect
At 32c below 0 at dawn, when most quadrupeds hide in their shelters, Jack is near me romancing gently my ears (eyes closed) while I’m dressing the rock with some steamy porc meat for him and life partner Diane.
Ravens deserve respect.
