I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. In many countries/cities fireworks are banned for great reasons as well as for wildlife conservation.

#Fireworks
The issue with fireworks is that some people are not aware or simply just forget that fireworks have a huge negative affect on wildlife and even on domestic animals. Especially when living in the countryside. Our dogs for example get crazy, act completely irrational and even endanger themselves.
Fireworks greatly disturb wildlife around here, cause fear, stress and anxiety to poor animals. They panic, abandon their nests, burrows, logs, trees and flee their natural environment leaving their young behind without any chances to survive on their own. Also fireworks are always of course, initiated at night when birds can’t fly. Why can’t they fly? Because they just don’t see in the dark. So they’re panicking; flying around and don’t know where to land, get short of breath, hit trees or buildings, have heart attacks to finally die and fall down on the ground.
That is very, but very cruel.
It does not only happen in my countryside but also in cities everywhere around the World.
So before initiating fireworks people, please have a special attention of what’s living around you.
It happened before, it still happening and will happen again.

So during Winter Seasons the food for Ravens around here is scarce and If you want to know why we help some of them to survive, well just listen to that video. Now you can’t see them in this video, but we did; so we know. And btw you need to pump up the volume.
It is the sound of a juvenile who’s extremely hungry, that has made a small come back in the valley asking “If I can say” for a little help from his father to get something to eat. And juveniles know that parents have a good connection for food. Us.
That is no fucking joke folks; the poor bird is so hungry that he has practically lost is voice.
Of course juvenile Ravens have been raised to never ask or accept food from humans. But we have gain 100% trust from Jack and Diane therefore they came to us for a little help. So we did provide that help.
((Northern Ravens “Les Grand Corbeaux Canadiens” are protected by the Canadian Law and somehow, when it’s possible, it is kind of our duty to provide any assistance that these birds may need))
A couple of minutes later the juvenile ate the food (that we provided) from their parents and went back to his own territory with a stomach full.

So again, it is 04:30 am. Time to get up and dress but Basco didn't seem ready to leave his comfy couch from the mezzanine yet.

Winter's not over around here yet and it looks like it will never end. So I decided to skip forward the rest of it by throwing back some interesting material sleeping in my personal computer's library until Spring immerge.
So this is a beautiful 3 months old female from the 2022 Raven's family that we named, Big-Sister. And Big-Sister had decided that day to grab a Squirrel leg from the road and bring it to lunch with us; warm thought.
