It's time to introduce the spouses the Lamb had before my AU starts! I mention 2/3 of them in the recent chapter I wrote so I was excited to draw them!

Eloise was the first spouse and was the first follower! She was the first person the Lamb had ever felt romantic love for (aside from their god but they didn't realize they loved him until a bit later). She and the Lamb were basically co-leaders until she died and she would lead the cult while they were crusading.

The Lamb told her literally everything, including the fact that they realized that they were in love with their god too (she was cool with it). She was the first person the Lamb considered resurrecting but she asked not to be, hence why the Lamb doesn't believe in resurrection

She died shortly after Heket was defeated (it took them 70-ish years to go through Darkwood and Anura initially)

Tye was born during the Lamb’s several year mourning period for Eloise. He was the first follower the Lamb became close to as a friend, but Tyr saw them as a romantic option. The Lamb agreed to marry him when he proposed because they thought it would raise morale. Unfortunately, Tyr got sick and died before they could get married officially. The Lamb granted him honorary spouse status despite that

Pearl joined a couple years before Kumo at age 10 with her family. She and Kumo were very close as they got older but she didn't like him the way he liked her. She asked the Lamb to marry her because she wanted to raise her status. The Lamb agreed because she was well-respected in the cult.

Pearl dies of a heart attack twenty years before the story starts. (Fun fact: she's aroace and came out after she married the Lamb)

I personally think more people would write hymns/songs for the Cult of the Lamb

Not like fan songs (those are cool and all but not what I'm talking about), but like hymns the followers would sing during the sermons and stuff

I'm talking songs that sing their praises and preach about their deadly sword killing the Bishops. Songs passed down from generation to generation until they're just commonplace

Like little kids learn one of the songs to sing at special ceremonies or school events. Older people hum the songs while working. Some followers learn to ply the piano and they learn those songs first.

I dunno, maybe it’s just the fact that I grew up Mormon, but I think all religions should have songs
