Why must I fall in love with books that don’t have sufficient art and fic? 😭😭😭

Theory for Allison's heel-face turn at the end of s2: the Argent family does some kind of subliminal messaging thing to foster violence/proper hunter vibes in the members of the main family. Heirs might get a more intense version of this (the real reason she had to stay back a year was because of the more thorough brainwashing requirement, but she remembers it as a very weird hospital stay of some sort--also an opportunity to have a sleeper agent of some kind).

Evidence:

She seems pretty freaked out about training/hunting, but not nearly as much as she could be.

Her face when she pulls out the ring dagger is "why the f*ck do I have a knife while I'm sleeping"

Again with the knives (yes, I know knife=/=dagger, right now I don't care)--we know she did archery and gymnastics as a kid, but how the heck does she know how to use those??? If I tried to do the spinny thing, I'd accidentally cut off a finger or end up impaling myself. This could be something like Starkiller's flash training from SW:TFU.

At the party, she gets shot by a shadow version of herself, and later she becomes the shadow. This could mean that the dark version is in her subconscious, waiting to take over.

She's reluctant to kill anyone up to her mother's death, and even then it's very focused on Derek (who she blames), and Derek-adjacent characters.

The previous point changes as she ends up diving deeper, but creepy grandpa seems like he's playing her like a fiddle--maybe he knows where/how to push to trigger the coding?

At the start of s3, she's pretty much back to normal--and creepy grandpa is gone, so dad could maybe use a phrase to turn off the brainwashing-lite?

I say brainwashing-lite because despite the OOC behavior and dark spiral, underneath it all she still maintains characteristics inherent to Allison; her free will is not overridden, merely twisted. This makes subliminal messaging, or subtle, hidden changes a much more likely choice.

This could also explain why Kate is so nutty--something went wrong in the process for her.

Just watched the Shamer's Daughter and the sequel, and there is an ABYSAMLLY small fandom. And the vibe I got is that the books are better??? This content deserves more love guys!

Ok, so I don't see a lot of posts about this, but Revan is kind of hot???? No matter what gender, species, etc. (for simplicity's sake, I'll be using male pronouns because of the novel). Because he managed to:

a) win against Mandos

b) leave and then show up again evil, but still recruit a solid amount of the army he commanded previously

c) no matter what ending/mod/romance plotline, Revan manages to end up with someone who is very loyal to their beliefs

(you can probably tell I find action/decisive decision making very attractive)

(also swords are hot, especially laser ones)

I read a fic where someone said "Revan is maxed on charisma" and it is absolutely true.

So I'm looking for a specific fic. I think it was on AO3, and the premise was that the Avengers are at a press conference and a tiny child asks the Winter Soldier what it felt like to betray Captain America. It turned out that it was baby Kate Bishop, and she was asking because baby Cassie is in a coma and Kate thought it was her fault. But anyway, I read it several years ago, and I'd like to find it again, if anyone knows it.

Thoughts on Teen Wolf season 3A in no particular order:

Why is Allison even allowed to take French? She lived there for several years, right? (that might be why she's willing to sleep in that class though)

Banshee makes sense as to why Lydia keeps finding all those bodies, but aren't they supposed to be widows? (my Celtic mythology phase was a while ago, so I'm not sure)

Peter Hale was very scheme-y but if Derek used the Alpha power to heal Cora, shouldn't it go to her?

No idea how Ethan and Aiden managed to deal with a broken neck but Kali died from a bunch of glass shards. If the healing is Wolverine-equivalent (someone with more background please help) then shouldn't she also live?

Derek and Paige were very cute and deserve a much greater amount of fanfic.

I now want a pre-Hale fire show, kinda like The Originals.

It is very disappointing that they killed off Boyd and Erica :(

Expected more wholesome sibling stuff, sad there wasn't
