You thought you were fairly good at telling your boyfriend and his twin apart. In fact, you hadn’t gotten them confused before. Of course they had slightly different hair, and if you paid enough attention they carried themselves differently. It wasn’t difficult to differentiate them after you’d known them a while, and especially since you were dating Osamu.

But you were sleepy and blurry-eyed, so you didn’t pay enough attention to which twin was which. In fact, you didn’t even know Atsumu was home.

Osamu wanted to watch a movie with you and you’d fallen asleep somewhere in the middle. He was still awake by the time it ended, so you assumed he’d left you asleep and went to the kitchen to get something to drink.

When you walked in, you’d barely rubbed the sleep out of your eyes. An empty glass in hand, you walked over to the sink to refill it. Osamu was standing beside the sink, cutting vegetables - why he appeared to be cooking an entire meal you didn’t know.

You smiled a little to yourself as you walked by, slapping his ass. You were reaching to turn on the sink whenever a very confused Atsumu muttered your name.

You turned to find the person you had once thought to be Osamu was actually his brother. The person standing in the doorway was actually Osamu, looking equally confused as you and Atsumu.

It took you only a few moments to realize this, but twice as long to say anything. You simply blinked, mouth opened slightly and staring at the two of them.

“That wasn’t you.” You said, finally.

“That wasn’t me.”

“That wasn’t him.” Atsumu was the last to speak, still standing there with a shocked expression. Osamu and you stared at each other for another moment, still trying to decipher what had happened.

“Anyway,” Osamu finally spoke, walking over to where you were and planting a kiss on your forehead. “The next time you slap someone’s ass make sure it’s mine, ok?”

“Will do,” You said awkwardly, letting out something like a laugh.

Atsumu giggled next to you, muttering something about how he ought to feel sorry for his brother. Osamu turned to look at the both of you, fighting a smile of his own.

“I didn’t even hit you that hard!”
